Same for me. I watched from Monaco but this GP is "the mother of all gp races". I'll never forget it. The cars of the early seventees were amazing if they only had been safer. Ronnies March 701 had the same designer who played an important part in designing the aerodynamics for the Concorde!
I remember reading about this race in MotorSport magazine as a 13 year old and it sounded amazing(I think the reporter was a chap called Peter Jenkins)the race was wheel to wheel at over 180 mph lap after lap.
Look how close that guy comes to the f1 car, that would never happen today.

I was a complete fan after that and went through my teens worshiping names like,Fittipaldi,Peterson,Cevert,Stewart,Ickx,Lauda,Revson,Hulme.
That was a time when Grand Prix still had the glamor and close races.
