two of my faves 16hp and joy division! this is good but it is hard not to be left wanting more of both bands. its too late for loy division but, 16, if you get back in the studio you might save you're self from eternal damnation. i fell certain that god is disappointed too.
I went to a Woven Hand concert this friday. They opened with this song. It was amazing! Totally blew me away! Always loved the Joy Division version by the way.
another band I regret never having to see live... I was in europe in 2003 but never got the chance to see them. they weren't as appreciated in the US as much in comparision to europe from what i hear.
now if you stared reading this dont stop its really scarey!ok send this to five other videos in 143 minutes. When you are done press F6 and your crushes name will apear on the screen in big letters this is weird because it does work.If you break this chance you wont have a crush in the next five years
Another simply stunning Joy Division cover by this brilliant band. Isn't it just typical that as soon as I descopver a band they break up! What's the point of breaking up? Si ti to maximise the cudos of the band? is it a musical suicide, obviously not as permanent as Ian Curtis's at least it can be undone. I suggest that they SHOULD reform.
Check out their albums Secret South and Hoarse and understand what I am on about.
A reforming would indeed be awsome. Until then I suggest that you enjoy David Eugene Edwards solo-project Woven Hand. He's released three albums so far, Woven Hand, Consider the Birds and Mosaic.
Sorry, forgot about Blush. But then again, it's a soundtrack rather than an ordinary album so one could argue that he's only made three albums and one soundtrack although I'm too tired for such semantic debate.
saw this one outdoor in 2004, antwerp. Just had a chemotherapy: too weak to dance, too fucked up to die. Beautiful

Yes for me too the last song I heard live from the band. Had a great impact sending me home with the memory of Ian Curtis.

16 Horsepower are great, this is probably the first time I've heard a Joy Division cover that did justice to the original!

John Frusciante's version of New Dawn Fades is genius, but this is immense as far as Joy Division covers go.

And there is yet another CD, Blush accompanying the Ultima Vez performance.
