I haven't played the original Half-Life. I can't even blame that on the "broke college student" phase. My family computer was a Packard Bell from 1995, so there wasn't a glimmer of hope that I could play it.

There was a point in Portal 2 where I was like, screw this I'm done but just like you I was at school when I solved it in my head having to sit through my classes waiting till I could put it in again. If the gameplay from your video is synced with what you're saying I think it was the exact same part. I had to play and beat Portal 2 before I watch the second half of this video, i fear spoilers. Hey Storm. The reason why your computer wont play on directx 11 is because the gtx 260 doesn't support the shaded model. Pretty much only cards from the past year or so support directx 11. However only 2-3 games worth playing can even use it. The gtx 260 is a mid range card from about 2-3 years back. It is still a powerful card though. I had one for a while.
