I can imagine driving down a highway somewhere in New Mexico listening to this during the 90's. WIth Art Bell talking about Aliens or secret bases and seeing something run across the road, some sort of a beast. Being puzzled for the rest of my life hahah!
Someone posted 'how could he bump against the ceiling if he was his non-physical?" Good question and I don't have an answer! :)
BUT.... (there is always a but)
Mr Monroe, Mr Hoskins alias 'Lobsang Rampa', Mr Castañeda and countless others are bringing what I'd call 'higher concepts' to a 'lower vibration environment'. For the religious this would mean divine concepts are making it to the physical world (once again). See next posting which is a continuation of this one.
Mr Monroe's system to access our other immediate self is through meditation and sound (not just any sound, binaural beats) with the aim of reaching altered states of consciousness which in turn would 'activate/awake' our other self (the Ka of the egyptians, astral body of modern new agers).
Mr Cyril Hoskins (Lobsang T. Rampa) who wrote his first book 'The Third Eye' back in the 50s also CONSTANTLY talked about the second body and its constant connection to the physical through a 'SILVER CORD'
Mr Castañeda wrote about how he was tricked by an old native indian, Don Juan Matus, by using pretty heavy duty plants such as peyote, an entheogen, in order to allow him to 'dislocate' his body and access the unseen non-physical world.
What such authors r doing is bringing to 'normal' waking consciousness concepts that either have been lost or prohibited for a long. Little by little they are creating and expanding consciousness of average individuals to TURN BELIEFS INTO KNOWNS.
so what's the intention behind all these books and writers? To have average men today, most us 'asleep' to the possibility of waking up, standing up and re-course our lives to align it with its 'natural course'. Why?
Because if we don't wake up and re-align, [A]- we remain slaves of powerful negative forces on a global scale, [B]- we are in path of self-destruction (physical only). SLAVES YOU'D SAY? Don't fall into the same silly question the Jews asked the Christ back in time. SEE ABOVE.
i used to listen to coast to coast in the 90s every night when i went to sleep. then, i moved to a place where i couldnt pick up the show. what happened to his show? why did it go off the air?
Art is the one and only. He always had a way of asking the hard questions without offending his guests. Thats what made him a stellar interviewer. I like Noory he comes off as a really nice guy. But he panders to much to his guests. But thats ok. Noory has a good heart. Ian has the best sense of humor. He makes me smile and laugh but he covers to much fluff and not much deep in his shows. Art still reigns as the King.
Was 9 years old, sitting under a huge tree, one summer morning early, when I first floated out of my body

It lasted 2 years till I got frightened when I has high in the air & a woman walking on a sidewalk looked up and saw me - she frowned and I heard in my head "BOY what are you doing up there?

TELL YOUR GUARDIANS-ANGELS-DEMONS TO PRAY WITH YOU HOLY MARY-ROSARY AND YOU WILL GET PROOF THAT OOBE IS DEMONIC AND IT WILL DESTROY YOU-YOUR ETERNAL SOUL!!!
Art Bell knew how to question his guests and callers, and was great at asking the appropriate questions...and his timing was dead on. I wish Art would reconsider hosting a few shows a year. C2C is unrecognizable compared to how it was.
It is because of him that I project. He was the shit. His first book is very honest from the point of view of a man who doesn't know what is going on.
i've tried doing this (astral projection) but can't get past the intense buzzing head thingy, it gets to the point when it feels as though its reached its maximum and then.... nothing :( just back to normal. its starting to piss me off, anyone have any ideas? cheers..... nice video playlist :)
I know it's cliche but relax and just let it happen when it will. I also think it helps to realise that you're not in your body in the first place, so it's impossible to leave it. By that I mean the physical world is just a projection of reality and your body a projection of your true being.
Noory is a nice enough man, but smacks of New Age-y. Art was skeptical, but open. he never accepted on face value, but never derided and never laughed at even the most outlandish or uneducated guests- and he LET HIS GUESTS TALK. He was one of a kind, and is deeply missed on radio.
@chris03653837 it costs money to run the station, so yeah, you need to pay. Or you could do what normal people do and use an actual radio. Or just just do what you did and look it up on youtube.
It's indeed a strong vibration that you experience just before going out of your body. I was very interested in what happens next, so I "got out" a little bit later and started traveling since then.
C2C used to be a great show. Now it is to much government and news garbage I can hear anywhere else. They used to have much more interesting topics like supernatural, occult and unexplained things. Now they just rehash the current events of the week. It is one reason I have not been a regular listener for several years now.
I just think it's awesome to hear Art's legendary voice. Robert Monroe was also a pioneer in his field and when I had a number of OBE experiences about 10 years ago my brother directed me towards Robert Monroe's books. It started an eye opening spiritual quest which has taken me many places.
What ever happened to Art Bell's "Dreamland" or "Coast to Coast" that used to air on Sunday nights 9:00PM'ish?????????? I loved that show and really miss it........Can anybody tell me if it is on anymore on AM radio??????????
i miss art bell, he was legendary! i used to love when they talked about ghost, big foot, and aliens. it was awesome, he always made my imagination run wild!
How could you "bump" against the physical ceiling if you were in your astral body? You'd simply pass right thru it and normally getting back into the body is the easy part. It's so natural it's like a reflect. Staying out of the body is the hard part.
just finished up far journeys. very interesting. i noticed many parallels to dr. brian weiss' research as well as drunvalo melchizedek. even zecheria sitchin who i had previously brushed off
@andrewcramer13 Just when your about (the moment) to fall asleep (unconscious), stay Conscious! You'll feel your body numb and then the Vibrations will run up and down your entire body, over and over, you can't mistake the vibrations. Then it's time to roll out or float out. But you are still Conscious! Not Dreaming, Not Asleep! It's hard to use the astral body, coordination is hard.
@starfire1725 I've tried to astral project less than twenty times, once late at night I got the up and down vibrations which felt pretty nice but my consciousnes stayed in my body. how do you make the jump?
@andrewcramer13 I've been doing for years now and still get scared. lol.. It's so easy, when you have the vibrations concentrate on them but not too hard, just the awareness to increase slightly, then just get up as if your getting up out of bed, or turn around and roll out, just as you would normally but you'll see that you don't do it physically. Trust me.!
@andrewcramer13 Forgot to say that when you do it for the first time consciously that you will hear the loudest crack or bang inside that might scare you, not sure bout this but it only happens on the first projection. After this then projection comes without the vibrations upon lots of practice. Intense interest in small things in the environment will distract from any travels while out though. lol.
@starfire1725 marijuana as with OBEs can give you insight into things that don't often come to regular awake consciousness. as with all psychedelics it's a mind tool stimulator that has uses beyond pleasure. it's not like drinking. marijuana heightens your perceptions making you more sensitive to the world around you. It allows the mind to open and explore new strange ideas, giving you the ability to see the world through others eyes and making you see yourself more objectively
@starfire1725 marijuana makes music, humor, food, art, nature, physical pleasure, and laughter more enjoyable. The reason pot heads often sound sdumb is because marijuana makes you think much deeper as it slightly hinders youir ability to express yourself. It's a trade off, but thinking deeper more often and speaking less is a good thing in my opinion
@starfire1725 sorry for the the rant. I'm high on devil weed right now the point is, you should try marijuana if you haven't. It may take a few times for the high to settle and give you a more contemplative state. always get high with the intention of exploring your mind and the world outside and it becomes a potent mind expander
