masturbation, chocolate....any thing that a human feels pleasurable in any way can be abused. People abuse government made prescriptions that cause overdoses, death, addiction. and this mother fucker david hess in the vid is worried about weed abuse??? id much rather abuse weed and not have to worry about dying, addiction, overdose, and cancer than abuse anything else. asprin is very legal and accepted by people and you can die from taking too many
I have been growing HEALTHIER & HEALTHIER, OVER 8 YRS. I have had M.S. since 1992, & I no longer take any Pharmaceutical medicine in over 8 yrs. I LOVE the word, RECOVERING.
Nixon did the same with the shafer commission of scientists he appointed to study marijuana... they advised marijuana was safe and should be legal, and Nixon got rid of them and made further marijuana research illegal in the US.
Now Gordon did the same to his scientist, and so far several others have quit.
Who's more trustworthy, the scientists or the politicians?
You know, in Holland, they just recently CLOSED some prisons--that's how much drug legalization has transformed that country. But in America, you stick marijuana users in prison with rapists, murderers and pedophiles. Sick.
Yes, idiot. Look it up before speaking. Seeds have the most required fatty oils and very high protein, pretty sure the plant itself can be eaten as well.
I get angry/dickish when people don't know facts that they comment on because that creates confusion and in confusion half truths are made which don't help the efforts to legalize when people don't know what they are talking about, my bad for being dickish I worked hard and didn't have a J yet.
chommel85: The seeds are high in protien. People have used them for food throughout history. There are still bakeries in Crete that have licenses to use hemp seeds in their bread.
Seeds of the plant cannabis sativa, hemp seed, contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids necessary to maintain healthy human life. No other single plant source has the essential amino acids in such an easily digestible form, nor has the essential fatty acids in as perfect a ratio to meet human nutritional needs.
the repressive nature of the legalities vis-a-vis drugs are destroying the legal system and corrupting the police system. legalize all drugs, take the money away from the gangbangers and druglords, put the money in the government. use drugsd if you want. if you abuse them, you dont have a life and need a hobby. or need help. all drugs have to be legal, fuck the consituition, restart, a new government.. new everything. rather, no government, let people live how they want? we arnt zoo animals.
You are a hypocrite if you believe marijuana users shouldn't be labeled criminals, while all the other illegal drug users should. Drug use is a health issue, not a criminal issue! In fact, victimless-crime should be ILLEGAL!
Correct me if i'm wrong here but have u not just gone back on your argument? I read the first half of your comment thinking u were pro-legalisation of all drugs cos its a health issue not a criminal issue. But then u go back on that and say that all victimless crime should be illegall. Surely all victimless crime is not actually crime and should be LEGAL! And saying that cannabis is ok but other drugs are bad is just like saying alcohol is ok but cannabis is bad.
Grammar error, sorry. My thoughts under the writing of the comment, was that making such laws should be illegal. We are victims of a law that forbids us to have a life style of our likings.
Did I say that cannabis is ok, but other drugs are bad? Or was this just an expression of your opinion? If the last, then I totally agree with you ;)
That makes more sense. Thanks for the clarification. You're right the laws are wrong. In my opinion some drugs are worse than others but the actual act of taking a drug in the privacy of your own home should be legal.
@richardfuckingwatson I'm going to agree but only with all drugs that make people harmless. I smoke some crystal meth in the "safety" of my own house and I run out, than I leave my house with a strong inclination to get some more, causing me to possibly be violent. Psychedelics should all be legal (whether it is safe to take or not)
They meant potential for abuse as in people going to the doctor and saying "I'm sick" and getting a "green" card. They truthfully just don't want it legalized, and are trying to hold it back as much as possible.
If you really have problems with the craving and all, I suggest that you try some psychedelics such as mushrooms the day before you try quitting the abuse. I've experienced that mushrooms have removed all withdraw symptoms even weeks after the last time i tripped. For example, I used marijuana constantly for 2 weeks, ate mushrooms and had no withdraw, some days later I used marijuana constantly for 2 new weeks, still no withdraw after quit. Same effect on my friend during the same period!
Potential for abuse.. This statement made my day lol. Who the hell votes all those idiots in? Government should have no right to decide what adult individuals desire to put into their bodies...especially if it comes down to substances that are impossible to overdose and have proven medical effects.
How much longer is the federal and states going to keep these daconian destructive cannabis laws. The longer the government fights to keep hemp/marijuana illegal the more stupid our congress look.
@yerk3 "If everything with a "potential for abuse" was banned, there would be nothing left."
Exactly, but its not about abuse. It's about who owns the markets for mind altering substances and who is currently getting all the profit. Further, the prison industrial complex is one of the largest industries left in this country, the country that imprisons more than any other nation on earth. The US government has also been lying about cannabis for decades and if they fold they are admitting it.
