I don't know if this is the movie that has it, but it just pisses me off when I see people getting hit in the nuts in kids' movies, it seems to be a mild trend these days. It's not funny at all, but I admit that's just my opinion.

I know it's not worth worrying over and its not scarring the kids, but really, is it necessary? Whatever happened to those lesson teaching classics?

I concur. While the planet's weather patterns are changing, it's clearly not man-made. Mars is also undergoing the same effects of "global warming", losing more of it's polar caps per year. It's much more likely, given the info, that it's a regular solar pattern and not human production (which is actually quite a small CO2 impact compared to life on our planet as a whole).
