  • Search green jobs and communism

  • You know spain tried to do that green jobs and green economy stuff and look at where they are now

  • BS alert

  • that stuff they blow in the attic doesn't look very healthy

  • I still don't get why oil is more important than this???? seriously even if global warming is not real we will only lose money.....but if it's is real and we don't don't do anything about it, the cost we'll paid is not only higher, but lots of people will suffer....Pretty Straight Forward!

  • @SexyAamber88 totally

  • >>>sounds like a great centre and campaign, hope it comes over to toronto

  • CFL's contain mercury and are highly poisonous when broken! You idiots! There is nothing green about them!

  • So just don't break them and hand them in for safe recycling after they are working no longer.

And remember coal and other stuff for energy production also contains mercury. the more energy you waste by light bulbs, the more mercury is emitted.

  • your an idiot.

  • Go GOOD magazine GO! these people rule!

  • Where did this word "weatherizing" come from? It certainly isn't in any of my English dictionaries. (Just checked - 1943 - the same year the American Govt started withholding Income Tax from employees wages)

Carbon isn't actually the problem. Self sustainability and energy independence from big corporations is what the issue should really be about. Carbon is a smokescreen, so to speak.

Carbon IS taxable though. Think about what that means for a moment.

  • Low income housing are indeed the worse on utility bills. the energy bill was huge in winter time and that was setting the heat at 50* When i moved out and into a more "modern home", well a 1970, i noticed utility was half despite sq ft being double. Then i replaced every bulb in the house with CFL and instantly saved $30 in electricity a month.

  • When I had to make a mock business plan, my business was exactly like this. Good to see that it is actually working in the real world.

  • Why do those old radiant heaters not have some type of thermal switched fan on them to blow warm air around. Wouldn't that be a quicker and more efficient way to heat rooms.

  • I love florescent light bulbs when they burn out they are much fun to break on the cement they explode its really cool looking specially with a black light on

  • Docthewrench, that dust is really bad for you. You should not be breathing in that stuff. (OK yeah I know it's fun)

  • This is important because not only is it allowing the poorer people of New York to save money but it is helping the environment at the same time. Strong economy = healthier environment = more money in people's pockets. This is the green message that more people need to get across.

  • doesn't sound too good because seems to be forced commercial

  • Sounds very positive

  • I love GOOD.

  • 4in1 my bad rofl :D

  • that is really good :) helps the ppl with their money saving and helps the earth and economy and poverty :D that's like 3in1 :D no but seriously that is a great progress :)

  • pretty sure thats just your perspective

  • Promoting the taking of the future generations' money to subsidize this? I don't think it's only my perspective, it's obvious. There's nothing 'awesome' or whatever about this. Ugh.

  • wow...its 11 billion dollars. obama just signed a bill giving the defense industry 600 billion. you wanna complain about money, look to other things, not this
