  • It's too bad the space bar doesn't light up. :(

  • It's only $85 on thinkgeek! :)

  • I hope you thanked your parents for that keyboard.

  • the weird lines on the back are on the bottom why do you care lol

  • This is way better than the saitek eclipse...who cares about number pads anyway

  • Lines are probably for cooling.

  • AND THe SPACE BAR does nothing !

    Super FAIL

  • 1:03 LOL FAIL ! ( its for girls )

he say's Blue all .. ( and its purple )

then " Magenta All " ( and its PINK )

and all the colors have that gurly Feel im sry you got ripped off ...

    - the Saitek Eclipse II - is only $52 and look better ,

the Logitech G110 Looks better for $80

    - and the g19 for $199 Kills this with that LED screen you can watch youtube on

... AND NO NUMBER PAD !! FAIL !!!!

  • The black one is horrible, nothing like the white one.

  • It looks like a waste of money. If I spend $200 on a keyboard, I want it to at least have basic functions...

  • Nice Numpad for a $200 keyboard

  • apple stype? why? i do not want apple style

  • @hiMoleculoman they also have in black

  • can you mix colors, propably 75% red and 25% green?

  • What is the diffance inLuxeed u5 and the Luxeed deTA 100 ???

  • The wire isn't a downside as otherwise you need an awful lot of batteries on this baby. The lack of a numeric keypad means that you can have the mouse closer to you.

  • this has F buttons right? and is it capable with any computer? like mac or hp computers etc

  • @burlaybae yes it has fkeys, and yes it is compatible

  • Its kinda ugly

  • The "lines on the back" are for ventilation, you know... tons of LEDs produce heat, and if you don't want to fry your fingers... you need ventilation.

  • 2:57 BUT WHATEVER!

  • It would be cool if it had a fade mode when u press a key it has a delay then fades away or to know someones password on something u can see the keys they pressed and then try and figure it out.

  • Yeah it was pretty obvious

  • The lines are underneath of heat dissipation. What's to not get?

  • "..and because it has these weird lines on the back, which I don't really get, but whatever." haha made me laugh

  • thats gay

  • i agree!

  • It's a good concept, but $200 for lights is a bit odd. Nonetheless the fact it is wired makes it a huge rip off. But it looks awesome, just would never put down that much on something so small.

  • Lack of a numerical keypad is a major downside. however, you can buy a matching, seperate keypad if you require one like myself. Also, having a corded keyboard is NOT a down side for a couple reasons: 1. High energy consumption with all the LED's would drain batteries way too fast. 2. Speedy response time.

A major downside to this keyboard is that the Function keys are not raised like the rest of the keyboard, and that can be very awkward for some people including myself.

  • I also noticed the kid did not mention some key set up. As you can see the Enter key is normal size, not extended. Also the back space key IS extended. Del, End, Home, Page Up, and Page Down are horizontal and not vertical. (Also a make it or break it for some people, such as myself.)

  • i got a question : how do you afford all the stuff ? do the websites send you sampes you have to send back ? id be greatful if you could answer because i am interested in making my own tech show :) thanks

  • it's 139 - 149$ on think geek

  • i got this!!! its amazing

  • 200 for just a few lights? Fuck that

  • why would you use profanity on a kid/teen video you idiot.

  • By the way, the lines are for the heat, since LED's get pretty HOT!

  • @Z1719 Leds don't get hot....

  • @Spurs1996 Some like it hot..

  • @Z1719 Yeah im not sure what your talking about LED's do not get hot. Thats why they are used as backlighting in many tv's and other devices. The only way LED's get hot is if the electricity is being forced into them to make them glow past their normal illumination limit.

  • LED's run relatively cool, however since they produce light they each give off SOME heat... adding up its warm at most.

  • Is there a random mode?

  • Cool! I would've liked more color programming though. For example it would've been cool to see a ripple when you type or maybe even a light that begins fading after you touched the button instead of just disaperaing.

  • So childish, you can get the logitech dinovo keyboard for 200$ which looks alot better compared to this..

  • I would rather get a backlit keyboard - they look A LOT better in the dark and the keys are easier to see. Great review though :)

  • $200? No thanks....

  • This keyboard reminds me with my first ever computer MSX 150 :D

  • Good review, but this keyboard cost really 200$?

No thanks,i'm breaking 2 to 3 keyboard every year,i really should not buy a 200$ keyboard.

And btw this is a pos keyboard, because you can get the same keyboard with blue light WITH a numpad, with only 20-30$.

    Example:Trust KB-1500

  • 200????????????

    hahahahahahahhahahahahahah no fukin way

  • $200 for no numpad, amputated function keys, wired and looks pretty thick to me as well...? What a rip-off, seriously... all they did is put some coloured LEDs under the keys...

  • my logitech wireless keyboard lights up the keys and it only cost me 59.99 i don't need this but very good review

  • DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. Good review though.

  • Waste of money. It's nice looking but you can get something that does the same job for

$180 cheaper. PEOPLE YOU DO NOT NEED THIS IT IS NOT A NECCESSITY.

  • Great clean keyboard! (:

  • it's an awesome colored keyboard and all :D

the only thing bad about it is everythign else...no Num. pad? ):

but watever, still looks awesome wit the colors

  • WIN

  • 200$ For a keyboard is too much, sorry

  • I think there is a black one also. I saw it and I think the keys looked so much cooler because just the letters lit up. I think it gives it a more sleek and classy design. But still, $200 for a keyboard is too much.

  • Cool review. This is interesting since I mostly work in the dark, and it would be nice to have certain keys lit for easy reference.

After checking it out, I found that there is a numeric keypad if you need one, but it's extra.

You can also get these at ThinkGeek for $139-$149. Still kind of pricey, but the cool factor might make up for it.

  • Woah, that is so cool...
