yea definitely pricey. At least the $3500 is better then the it costing originally $5000. Only if you really love the Passat would I get it haha. It adds around 100 horsies though :D

that's the PES G2 supercharger. It will fit your platform. Retail right now for those guys is around $3-3.5K. Not really sure about the #'s but you should see an increase of 40-50% power.
