IF you are christian you don't have any rights; .Rom 13:1 Everyone must obey state authorities, because no authority exists without God's permission, and the existing authorities have been put there by God.
Rom 13:2 Whoever opposes the existing authority opposes what God has ordered; and anyone who does so will bring judgment on himself.
@cjunk351 Funny- All of our Founding Fathers took scripture very seriously which is why our country was organized and led the way it was. If it weren't for scripture our country would have never began.
@cjunk351 The Constitution was written from the minds, experiences, beliefs and philosophies of the framers. Scripture was central to their work and lives. If you don't believe me, read all of their letters, writings and documents from that time. You can't miss it.
The Christmas video, wasn't that the one where you said atheists don't want moral constraints and do whatever they want? Yet now you just want to put that aside and work together?
No, I didn't say that. As for the video itself, I regret nothing I said in that video, but I do regret saying it the way that I did. As for your last statement I'm not interested in hiding my views and becoming friends with anybody. If you are an atheist and you disagree with my positions in the faith and other things and want to be friends you'll have to live with my openness about the faith and the bankruptcy of yours.
Oh my gosh, I just about died laughing when you came out with that toilet roll. I wasn't expecting it and your face gave nothing away.
Americans have no clue of the bad shape this country is in, and I think it is heading for God's judgment.
I was first introduced to Paul Johnson just after I got saved when I was given his book "Intellectuals". It is a bird's eye view of the ideologies of such men as Rousseau, Shelley, Marx, Ibsen and others. Reading that leaves much food for thought.
I never heard of that book; I'll have to check it out. Also, I think God's judgment is already upon us in the form of Barack Obama and all those who buy into and propagate his ideology and views of government. We used to be a free nation under God, but now we are a nation on the brink of real oppression and God's giving over our society to its lusts. I don't think He's lifted His hand yet, but I believe we are close. It's quite frightening.

Scriptures are not truth buddy...... The worst thing we could ever do, is take scripture seriously.

@bberchin It must be very unfortunate for people like me who do not live in your country. We are so oppressed.lol
Even I am aware that while your founding fathers took scripture seriously it wasnt always because they agreed nor liked them.
Anyway, what does that have to do with the price of fish??
Wouldnt your constitution take precedence over what they personally liked to read?

"...and want to be friends you'll have to live with my openness about the faith and the bankruptcy of yours. "
Perhaps, but you will have to realize that I have just as much right and reason to 100% with that.
