@ronatoju The tx settings are normally left as default, single servo swash and default 0 others, all settings are set using the helicommand. I have set up files for various heli's on my website (link on youtube page)
Hi Gary, do you the difference between the Alien Command Advanced and the Helicommand and which one is the best for a beginner. also what heights can they work at
The helicommand works anywhere as it uses gyro stabilisation, the Alien command advanced uses heat sensors and an on board mixer, it still needs a large open area to operate effectively. IMO the helicommand although more expensive is better as it has no restrictions on where it can be used.
They both work well at any height although the positional mode on the helicommand only works efficiently at up to 5m to a max of 10m (after that it auto switches to horizontal mode)
You can use the internal gyro for the tail or use an additional one, the internal one is fine for gentle flying but for more advanced stuff a good external one is probably better.
Thanks. I'm also curious about vertical obstacles like fenses and trees. Would you know if the Helicommand keeps the Chopper away from these obstacles as well?
No the helicommand will not avoid obstacles, and you can still crash when using it. It will keep the heli in a stable position but you have to avoid the ground etc.
hi,i'm Taiwanese.

Can I use my Spektrum Satellite receiver and my regular Spektrum receiver with the Helicommand? If so how does the Satellite get connected?
Lenny7118 7 months ago
@Lenny7118 yup just use the satellite as normal and connect the HC to the main rx.

Hi Gary,
I confuse about connections between HC3A & my Blade SR. Please help me.
My SR rx has 7 connectors:1-batt/bind 2-throttle 3-aileron 4-elevator 5-rudder 6-gear 7-aux1. It has 3 same servos DS75H, 120 degree, gyro G110HL.
From SR to HC3A: aileron>left servo, aux1>right servo, elev>elev, rudder>tail servo. The fifth and sixth connectors ??
From HC3A to SR: aileron>aileron, elevator>elevator, coll pitch>??, tail/yaw>??, pilot>gear, aux>??. ( ??= where do I hve to plug them in )
Thank you

... Just wanted to double check. Do you have the option of using a built-in gyro inside the Helicommand or an external gyro?
