  • No gratuitous runny yolk shot? I feel so incomplete right now.

  • don't be discouraged if you break the yolk when you flip it. just keep at it. i agree with chef snow...couple eggs with runny yolk, some toast and juice/milk is a fantastic meal. i make this for lunch sometimes. yum yum!!!

  • I like your kitchen.

  • Mmmmmm yummy thank you

  • Well, I can toss fried rice in the air and catch 99.5% of it. Surely I can flip an egg like that. :)

  • This was not helpful AT ALL...Not once did he talk about the temp of the pan! I'll continue my search!

  • @tandmepets sorry man.....I'll agree..not my best video....!!

  • @keithsnow Here's a tip: If we need to come here to learn how to cook, we probably don't know how to do things like pan flip.

  • why can't you use margerine?

  • @snpaa

margerine is pretty much plastic, seriously.

  • @TryosWoW I don't get it what do you mean?

  • @snpaa well flys dont land on margerine because its 1 atom (or molecule i cant remember) away from being plastic, so you dont want plastic tasting eggs, and butter adds flavor to the eggs :D

  • @TryosWoW Margarine is mostly transfat / hydrogenated fat / Crisco shortening. I've seen people scoop that stuff like ice cream and put it on their cornbread. Yuck! I never cook with that garbage. I know I get enough of it in certain processed foods I like, like Ritz crackers.

  • Any tips on how to flippem

  • this looks so yummy! but doesn't work wen i do it :(

  • HA! chickens dont eat grass, they eat the bugs in the grass. trust me, i spent three years of school on a farm.

  • back when they had me on breakfast at work, i was taught a different way of making over easy/medium eggs. first thing they told me, and i quote "quit f**kin with 'em!" a 6" non stick round, high heat, clarified butter, s&wp, flip when there whites half done, turn off heat for 30 seconds, flip again and plate. they look really nice, and no brown at all. plus white pepper's flavor lends a bit better to eggs, slightly fruitier almost.

  • He should have broke a piece off so i could see what it looks like inside, not sure if i would like it

  • Hahaha shots fired at 1:32 "If they're healthy eggs and the chickens are out in pastures (like they should be, not cramped in a cage) they have great...)

  • I've been cooking most of my life and if I tried to flip eggs like that, they would end up on the ceiling or in the burner. They are called over easy so let's make them the easy way

  • thumbs up if top rated comments are the same thing

  • @khfanatic3000 lmaooo

  • dude, if i watch all of these will i be able to finally cook? ): my mom is annoyed when she tries to teach me

  • why are you destroying the white???

  • I love the organic agenda hippies like this follow.....how many herds of chickens on wide open pastures have you seen keith? lol...thanks for showing me, this is the best vid for over easy. the hippie crap just annoys me

  • nice flip

  • damn any of you white girls know how to cook at all?

  • Thanks Kieth. Great Video. And to those of you guys who "can't flip", please stop your whining and just learn to practice. I just made myself a delicious egg sandwhich after watching this, and one of the 2 eggs busted on the flip. It happens, but you'll get better so long as you try, and arn't mentally retarded.

  • like jack nicholson said in Anger Management in the kitchen scene :" i said over easy!!" lol

  • @frenchkitty that's exactly the movie I'm watching right now, and that's the reason I came here to find out how to make them. I literally paused right after that scene!!! Too funny!

  • how hot do you have the burner initially??

  • NOW POST A VID ON HOW TO GET THE F'KIN EGG OFF THEW CEILING

  • I love that you mentioned base on the type of butter and healthy chickens =)

  • Why is margarine bad?

  • @airplaneking Margarine trades the saturated fat found in butter for deadly trans fat. Go ahead and use regular butter (organic is best), as the fat in butter is actually perfectly healthy for you. Ignore all of the "fat leads to heart attacks and double chins" nonsense, no study has ever shown a relationship between fat intake and obesity/heart disease (seriously, if you don't believe me look it up).

  • @capturethatflag4 You're an idiot. Just the fact that you said "seriously, if you don't believe..." at least lets me realize that you know this.

  • @airplaneking It's been known now for fifteen years that margarine was a terrible idea; a deadly solution to a problem that didn't actually exist. Fat is supposed to be the body's #1 source of energy, for 150,000 years humans lived on a diet primarily of fat and protein, with carbs being more of a rarity. But whatever. An ignorant ass like you deserves the shitty life that results from eating your pussy lowfat diet.

  • @capturethatflag4 Carbohydrates have always been and will continue to be the main source of energy for people (unless there is some freakishly drastic change in evolution). And I never said I was on a lowfat diet. You really need to learn how to read.

  • keith is a mother fucking faggot. theres no diff between butter and margerine

  • @mfxdoodist Haha funny. Where did you learn that piece of misinformation.

  • Wish I could flip them that fast and easy lol

  • i just watched someone make an egg. wtf. you'd have to be a chef to understand this kind of cooking. :|

  • NO. FUCKING. WAY!

  • Ah man, that flip, no can do

  • I tries this... tasted like soggy penis.

  • What a G

  • 1:53 Yeah, sure. What about us noobs?

  • those eggs r soo beautiful omg

  • If you have a good non-stick pan with high edges like his, the flipping isn't really that hard...

  • Oh man those look good...but there's no way in hell I'm flipping them like that, though.

  • @FatalOx tmi . lol .

  • what the shit, everytime i flip my eggs they break :(

  • i fliped mine and it landed rite on the rim of the pan lol

  • Milk? Ew, no. Orange juice is served best with this ^.^

  • He makes the flipping part look easy, i keep bursting those mofo yolks.

  • @williambellynck Use a non stick spatula. i suck at flipping too

  • throw a tad bit of siracha on these puppies and that's some good eats.

  • Very well made video, im very impressed, and hungry. Im going to make me some eggs over easy!

  • LOL i can never flip it "just like that" keith!! if i did then the yolk will break!

  • looked great, except for the cheese. to each his own.

  • i'm too scared to flip it so i ended up cooking sunny side up... haha

  • Umm organic eggs are orange not yellow.

  • I use clarified butter as well. Nice job on the flip!

  • Are you related to Steve Carrell

  • @guygal12345 LMAO!!

  • Eggs are really good. always make mine over easy.

  • Quit fucking with your eggs, let them cook. Your cheese idea fucked up your eggs jackass.

  • @swis19 Be nice. Everybody has their own way.

  • I always use margarine. Eggs always come out tasting better.

  • Why not margarine?

  • i try cooking the eggs like that but i always mess them up lol....but it might help if i used butter instead of pam spray

  • wanted to see the other side of the egg you put on teh toast

  • Over easy takes practice, but the runny yolk is SO much better than cooked in my opinion.

  • dude nice i just made some and..........i broke the yoke :( first time i cooked it but hopefully i get better

  • nicely done

  • Awesome video's Keith, i watched your French onion soup a while back, which i still haven't made yet :( I'll definitely be making some eggs in the morning now though!

  • thanks..enjoy!

    Keith

  • eggs over easy and toast. nothing else is needed to have breakfast, except maybe some coffee

  • yea i cant flip them like u did but i still can make them! they are delicious!!

  • thanks for the great vid!

  • will be today's breakfast for me..with crispy home made toast

    keith

  • i like how cooking shows have such cool ingredients. but seriously.. thats hard to flip the eggs like that.

  • not hard at all..practice with something like a pancake first though!

    Keith

  • How the fuck do you expect me to flip it like that?

  • it's easy.....trust me.....

    Keith

  • @QsKRippiN practice makes perfect, but it's really not that hard after a few tries. just make sure you dip your pan down 45 degrees let the egg slide to gain momentum and then flick it with your wrist to get it to flip

  • @kameelyan True...but few people have that much time and that many eggs to "practice" They wanna make breakfast and move on.

    Great video keith....Thanks

  • @QsKRippiN it's not actually that hard at all if you understand the physics of it. even still you can just manually flip it. Worse results but same ending really.

  • @QsKRippiN it's not hard just try it scardy puss

  • then why do you watch it dumbfuck...your the 1 that typed in "eggs over easy"....retards on this earth what a waste of space.

  • Looks delicious.

  • especially with local fresh eggs....of course some bacon or ham works too!!

    Keith

  • Organic foods are BS, stop trying to reduce crop groath. It's no healthier to go organic and it's grown in cow feces and still uses pesticides.. the big catch is, it's more harmful pesticides than regular food. So stop promoting organic foods and just eat food. Organic food has less flavor, harder to grow, more dangerous to grow, oh yeah and it WAYYYY over priced... not to mention a large percentage comes from china, yay lead poisoning!! :D

  • sounds like you need some anger management buddy...you eat what you like I eat what I like...

    Keith

  • I LIKE MAH EGGGS OVER EZ

  • That was cool how you flipped them! I usually flip them with a spatula, but most of the time the yokes break and then they're over hard and I don't like that. Great video!

  • sometimes they do break :)

    thanks

    Keith

    twitter at chefkeithsnow

  • yeah. but a trick that u can do is that u can put a lid over the pan so it cooks the top without flipping them and that way u dont break them!

  • good tip...that does work!

truth be told..my favorite way to eat eggs is either poached or soft boiled...

    Keith

  • what is th best way to poach an egg dude

  • What is poached?

  • cooked slowly in hot water...

    keith

  • yeah that was pretty gay

  • easy..but not gay!

    thanks

    Keith

    twitter at chefkeithsnow

  • Haha, well played.

  • Joining two eggs together is actually more lesbian.

  • this is the gayest thing i have ever seen.

  • Yeah, cooking and eating in general is pretty gay. You shouldn't eat food if you don't want people to think you're a fag.

  • Yeah, eating's totally gay.

  • wtf its not hard to cook over easy eggs....

    its actually super easy

  • Wtf, he just expects people to "flip" it like that?!

    pffff, yeah right.

  • @MMMMBOPS Im pretty sure with some practice you'll get it!

  • @MMMMBOPS you pussy just try it it's not that hard

  • @MMMMBOPS

he's just showing off he's not really instructing us lol

  • It's said that eggs are the perfect food.

  • Medium heat on a glass top stove?

  • hellyeah. this helped :P

  • nice vid man. looks delicious.

  • So much better than burnt scrambled eggs.

  • i would imagine! lol

  • I like my eggs over easy

cook em well don't make me queasy

    I'm up in the kitchen

    and I grab a pan

    and I grab a can

and hit the pan with pam

  • tjis guyd last name is snow!!!! what a coincidence

  • sorry but those arent fresh eggs buddy. at my house we have a chicken pen where the chickens go back to sleep at night. during the day they just rome the yard and eat bugs and all thise other nutrient stuff. so when we get the eggs, the yoke in the middle is almost an orangish color meaning that is REALLY FRESH and you can taste the difference significantly.

  • first of all none of us will believe you since you spelled yolk wrong

  • so spelling has to do with REAL fresh organic eggs?

i live in hawaii and we grow a lot of organic foods, so if you dont believe that than youre just stubborn.

  • And roam.

  • i'll like to have one ^^

  • hey never tell you what to set the heat on...i never know what i should do

  • i do it on medium if that helps..

  • i dont think it really matters what the heat is on. for me its easier to cook it on a lower heat that way i can take my time and add all the ingredients i want.

  • Simple and neat!!

  • the guyerre cheese is a nice touch.. i'd then add a bit of hot sauce.

  • why not margarine? i thought it was healthier then butter.

  • For one it's pure chemical. If something goes wrong in the production of margarin it's actually poisonous stuff (I know this as my grandfather was a scientist testing the stuff on bacteria and chemicals).

Also, studies have showed a link between consumption of margarine and allergies. Especially in young children. Apparently it breaks down your immune system.

If that is not a reason to not use margarine, then taste is definitely a good reason. Butter gives a much nicer taste to your food.

  • Chemical stuff I haven't heard of aside. No, margarine is NOT better for you. Butter is definitely better for you, but too much of it is definitely bad. Butter also cooks things more evenly and tastes better.

  • I use I can't believe it's not butter, I have issues with milk products, they give me bad headaches. I wonder sometimes if that diminishes or improves the flavor.

  • Me too...Dairy is mucous forming and causes all kinds of discomfort and ailments...I use extra virgin olive in most of the foods I cook, including eggs.

  • Eggs are also mucus forming. You shouldn't eat them either.

  • Eggs are super healthy, particularly in its boiled form...The cholesterol in eggs is also good cholesterol...Eggs are very nutritious, particularly organic eggs, so I recommend them...I don't eat them much but I do use them in some of my recipes and I consider it to be a good thing...That being said, eggs are the exception for me and not the rule...I avoid dairy for the most part, particularly milk and cheese.

  • No there not. They can be mucus forming if u don't cook them long enough

  • Finally! I never knew how to make over easy eggs. I'm sure the flipping part needs a lot of practice.

  • it actually doesnt. i got it on my first try and didnt break the yolk.

  • Well Congratufuckinglations.

  • fa sho bitch.
