That car had/has the creature comforts of a golf cart. But, guess what? Millions of people spend part of their day regularly in golf cars! Why couldn't millions of Americans embrace the concept of minimizing creature comforts during short distance commuting and errand-running as millions do daily during a 4-hour round of golf?
