Alonso's team manipulating a race was a bigger title decider, that not only had an effect one one driver's result in the race, but everyone's. As for team orders, I believe the reason why people are paying more attention to this one is because there was enough proof to give them a real penalty, along with Alonso being included in race manipulation before.

Look! The only thing to be upset about here is how Ferrari explained it to the media and in the end, the fans. Team orders and all the mischief on the technical side are part of F1, both now and then. But! If there is a rule (and it's been in place since 2002) saying that team orders are forbidden, enforce it! Otherwise both the rule and FIA are worth nothing. If they don't enforce it, scrap it and let the teams do what they have always done.

@1984ThoughtPolice the point is, that one event can't be set as the "title decider", as you claimed had happened with the team order in 2008. Alonso's team manipulating a race was a bigger title decider, that not only had an effect one one driver's result in the race, but everyone's. As for team orders, I believe the reason why people are paying more attention to this one is because there was enough proof to give them a real penalty, along with Alonso being included in race manipulation before.

At the 2010 Japan GP, Lewis let Jenson through after losing third gear and there was no problem with that. Hamilton. When it comes to what happens on the grid, Ferrari are just most crooked out there.

Look! The only thing to be upset about here is how Ferrari explained it to the media and in the end, the fans. Team orders and all the mischief on the technical side are part of F1, both now and then. But! If there is a rule (and it's been in place since 2002) saying that team orders are forbidden, enforce it! Otherwise both the rule and FIA are worth nothing. If they don't enforce it, scrap it and let the teams do what they have always done.
