The orchestras in the UK productions are 100 times better than the ones here in America. Here in the states, they're one eight piece with more synthesizers than there should be. Not to mention those god-awful drums!

Chissie Hammond is a legend! I worked with her almost 10 yrs ago on another show. She amazed us every night!! A fantastic talent & a beautiful lady in every way! Thanks for posting this x

Chrissie is the true Griz, I was lucky enough to do the show with her firstly 6 years ago and again 2 years ago for 13 months. She amazed me every time I did the show and she is a true star and, a lovely person!

hi mat parsons agien, I agree 100% Chrissie Hammond is a true godess in theater, not just this but in other shows like jeasus christ super star. I forget who said it but I berts into tears when she hit the note "TUCH ME". I saw it at the derngate theater in northampton, and still over a year cats uk tour has not lost any of its power and emotion. Hope you all enjoyed it as well as I did. MATT.

The Young girl who was singing with Chrissie Hammond in this recording was Charlotte Scott,

who was the Swing for the 2007/2008 tour, she has now gone on to "Footloose", and in January is then into the tour of "Fame"

I had wanted to see Cats since the start and finally got to see it in March, a Mother's day pressie from my daughter. Chrissie Hammond's voice is amazing and the whole cast brilliant. Two of my granddaughters came with us and we got autographs in the interval. I hope to see again and again.

The best part was at the Mr Mistoffolees part, ALL the cast dressed up in any costume that was available, swings and all, and the whole cast took the Final Bow, and just so deserving too!, the whole cast of the 2007/8 tour should be justifiably proud of being a part of one of the Greatest Musicals of all time.

Well done the WHOLE cast!, you all deserve the accolade deserving of your 18 months of hard work.

Roll on the German Tour later this year!

I was lucky enough to see the last show of the Italian Leg of the UK Tour in Caserta, near Naples, and was in the VIP area.

It was set in one of the outdoor Squares of the magnificent Palace De Reggelia.

And it was packed with 4,500 Italians who had gone mad for it, at every venue.

It was a night I shall never forget!.

Chrissie was at her very best, and to cap it all she sang the very last line of "Memory"in italian, they went beserk!.

Truly a "Memorable" Night and we finished with a Pizza.

i saw cats live I AM A HUGE fan n my bf got tickets 4 me 4 my birthday, though he doesn't like it he still came with me, it was fantastic i watched the very last show, before they went on tour, thank you for uploading this. Loved it ^_^ i begged them to take me with them. i've got the dvd and proudly seen it 142 times!!! after the show i begged them to take me with them, they didnt T_T. CATS FORVER!!!!!

Apparently,Grizzabella is rumoured to be the Mother of Jemmima(the Young Kitten)who harmonises with Her Mother during the song "Memory",when you see it performed live, you can relate to the Mother (Grizzabella)casting her Mind back to her early Motherhood.

Several times during the first part of performance you will see Jemmima , attempt to approach her Mother,and is snatched from the brink of making contact with her Lost Mother by several of the other Cats, whom are protecting her from harm.

I think that last years Grizabella may haev been Dianna Pikington although Im not sure But I have heard them both and I agree they are both fabulous!

omg what an angel, i was at liverpool empire on the 1/11 and then i went again on the 15/11 i absolutly loved it and am going to leeds in april to see it again. chrissie hammond is by far the best grisabella i have heard i'd evn go as far as to say she is better than elaine paige this clip doesnt infact do her any justice u had to be there to fully appreciate it xxxx
