So many memories evoked by this excellent video! I knew these scenes between 1972 and 1984. I enjoyed my work there and found the Hong Kong staff very easy. Full of life, optimism, quickness and energy. Always humorous and friendly to me. I miss living in this great city.

@manleongheleng I don't think us British will be back cos our government wants China to be our trading partner and taking back HK would make the Chinese cancel trade treaty with Britain and would lose money HK needed.

It will be very hard for the British to take back HK or even HK declare themselves independent cos the Chinese already declared HK as Chinese sovereign territory and promised to defend it. The PLA is there to make sure HK stays Chinese for long time to come.

I left Hong Kong about 20 years ago. I used to go to Regent Hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui. Is that Regent Hotel still there? I like the marble stair case there.

Regent hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui was sold to Six Continests PLC in 2001 and then rebranded as InterContinental Hong Kong. The building is still there. Please come and visit Hong Kong again.
