  • Remove all that crap and replace it with either a plain muffler or a straight pipe

  • your not saving the earth when u burn twice as much as fuel with the dpf!!!!!!!!!

  • dummys whats the point of clean emmisions if you use twice the fuel to get there

  • @fyldths THANK YOU!!! i've been sayin the exact same thing for years!!

  • You dont have to tow to get it hot Enough to burn out. Once it goes in regen drive above 30mph for 20-30mins its cleaned. Get on the highway drive & its done.

  • @bykashka75 Good job sounding like a ignorant sexist. Its almost 2011, and most people now know that that race, skin color, and gender have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with how smart some one can be; but SOME of us, eehheemm, are under the false illusion that only a "man" can be smart in mechanical things. Well I bet "men" were not the only ones who designed this truck, and your vehicle too. So next time, put some logic into your statements so you don't sound so ignorant!!

  • is it true that it sucks back fuel when the dpf is activated?

  • Oh , yes BITCH, lets give us advice how we, man, should do this our trucks

  • @bykashka75 Way to sound like an ignorant sexist. Its almost 2011, we all know that everyone has the same potential to be smart in mechanical things, and we all know that Race and Gender have NOTHING to do with it. The problem is SOME OF US, eehheemm, are under the false illusion that only a "man" can be mechanically smart. Well know this, I'm sure that "MEN" were not the only ones who designed AND built this truck. Next time, put logic into your opinions so you don't sound so dam ignorant.

  • the dpf and egr are just a big waste of money and if it makes the check engine light come one just unplug the damn sensor and peg the egt gauge every once in a while that will clear all the soot

  • Comment removed

  • rip that god damn dpf right off!!!! roll the coal all day

  • emission laws are killin these diesels...

  • I really didnt remove mine and my truck really dont run better! Up yours EPA

  • Just get a kit to remove the DPF. It bypasses the sensor and does not trip the check engine light. You definitely get better performance and better mileage without it. Saves a lot of headaches if you just delete it.

  • haha dont take it off? Take it off and throw it away!!!!!

  • any of yall know if you take the dpf and the egr off if it will void your powertrain warranty?

  • If it's not on there, how would it fill up with soot? Sounds like the tech's are just as clueless as the interviewer.

  • if your not going to remove the dpf then dont bother getting a new diesel, stick with the pre 2008 modles. the dpf destroies the engine. you better off with a used truck with 100,000 miles then a diesel with a dpf. take it from someone who has a 08 ram 6.7, on its 4th turbo and 2nd ecu with less then 40,000 miles on it.

  • ill take it off any time there is a chip that will tell the sensors that it is on and if you do keep it one over hundred thjousand itll blow yourt turbo over and over again cuase the dpf that enviromentalist came up with cause there fagets had no idea what they are talkin bout with diesels so i ssay get the chip and eliminate the problem

  • you would be a retard if you left that on your truck lol

  • EPA is a bunch of hippy libtards that dont know nuttin about anything...... they should all be put down. more crap and more cost. Their agenda is to ruin America and break Americans financially . what a joke.

  • dad has an 07 megacab dually with the blutech. the exhaust (sadly) is clean as a whistle

  • Who cares what it pumps out its 6.7litre lol

  • In dry weather it IS possible for it to catch something on fire. The pipe of our work truck caught a field on fire at our ranch while the engine was on. We were loading cattle in the trailer and the grass below the truck was lit, causing a huge fire.

  • basically the moral of this story is, stick with the tried and true 5.9 cummins :) I always will!

  • basically the moral of this story is, stick with the tried and tru 5.9 cummins :) I always will!

  • sad part is the emissions will not be affected that much by removen the dpf and youll get better mpg.....ohh and it will catch grass on fire ive seen this for myself

  • lol think about it its an oil scam, if you burn more refined fuel they drill more oil wells than they use a blody cummins strait piped to pump i from the ground let alone the fuel that tankers use to deliver it haha! she sounds like she runs my service department haha. Anything you can do to make these trucks breath better will make them last longer and have less warranty issues if you respect them. plus in Alberta after you buy a vehicle that is the last time its ever tested for emissions.

  • 1400 Degrees!!! Loose the DPF piece of shit!!!! EPA Bullshit!!!

  • DPFs: crimes against nature. Only terrorists like them.

  • Your an idiot.....DPF's are retarded and cause more problems and waste more fuel than Obama flying around on vacation.......

  • yes we have check light off

  • So all this thing does is hold the soot till later then dumps it all out when it builds up enough? If that's what it does then it's pointless. Plus rollin coal is much better!

  • so if you take this gay thing out you get better fuel economy?

  • Problem is for all you genious's out there..once you remove the emissions on the vehicle you are ILLEGAL in 50 states. PERIOD...if you happen to take it to a dealer they can report you, if you happen to get in a wreck and the cops start looking around and dump your computer...you will get hammered, if you try to sell it...you can't...so ..for all you genious's out there spewing the trash...Pay attention, you will get caught. Your bank can even call your loan...and I know you all have loans!

  • booooo!!!! DPF sucks!!! haha rolling coal is better screw federal emissions!

  • Solution, put a different fuel system on it, i think anything pre 2005?? before all the really crazy emissions shit came along.

  • the check engine light will go away with a race tuner that is now avakable from several chip co.

  • That "DPF" junk is why I will keep Y2K CTD. Straight pipe baby!!

  • Its called some black tape for the check engine light and strait pipe the bitch

  • A system to burn MORE oil. It uses more diesel to run that once it kicks on than the engine running at highway speeds.

  • All you gotta do is cover up the engine light with a picture of a sexy lady and wallah, she's fixed ;-)

  • SIMPLE CHANGE COMPUTER :)

  • fuk that shit guy i am glad i got a 04 cummins

  • these guys aint got a clue their is no oxygen sensor there is 3 temp sensors and a differential pressure sensor b4 the dpf and after to to sense soot load and it will regen its self by injectining fuel on the exhaust stroke and then what they called a nox collector is actually a diesel oxidation catalyst it oxidisese the fuel to regen the dpf all this can be found on the cummins website but i work for cummins so i deal with it every day

  • i just got a Flo-Pro 5" turbo back straight pipe on my 08. i dont know why they put them filters on. thats the dumbest thing they have done.

  • you can leave it on if you doing alot of driving but if your out in the patch in the winter time and you got the high idle on because its-25 outside then that thing just clogs up and the computer shuts your engine down

  • hah took my shit off the day i got it...edge raceing baby!!!!!!!!!!

  • 5.9 CUMMIN'S FOR LIFE

  • Why couldn't you rip that shit off and go steal a computer from a 5.9 i6 and have no problems with check engine lights and all that shit

  • Rip it off!

  • the only thing i had a problem with was hearing 1400EGT now doesnt that melt the living cr@P out of diesel and for that matter most metals

  • .Innovative Diesel makes tunes to override dummy lights , dummy

  • smarty !!!! chek it out

  • Note the date. I deleted mine recently and, with the use of a Smarty, I have no check engine lights. Milage jumped from an average of 13 mpg in town (14 on highway) to right around 18 mpg in town (21 on highway).

  • doesnt smarty have a programmer that makes it so the engine light stays off

  • this video is wrong. smarty or edge with juice will disable the codes

  • Haha mine would be gone asap if i had one

  • 1400 is no big deal? pretty sure that will light things on fire.

  • lol friend cut his out and reprogrammed the computer.......no more SES light hahahahahahahahahahahahaha......cummins ftw

  • Remove it, put a direct exhaust and pay a beer to the inspections guy!!! LOL

  • this is no different then when they started putting catalytic converters on cars back in 1975. There are ways around it!!!!!!

  • its easy to remove that. all you need to do is get a dummy particulate filter and put it in and your good to go! those things are fucking stupid urea is the way to go for this emissions codes because it doesn't give you bad fuel mileage.

p.s. after watching this video it made me realize how people shouldn't make educational videos when they dont know much about the topic their trying to teach.

  • If you buy these new p.o.s. trucks you have to live with the problems. My 98 12 valve gets better mpg, hp and torque, and I don't blow all that smoke

  • you SHOULD take it off

  • dumb video. programmer and dpf delete kit. no body is gonna listen to this croc of shit video. dpf is bad, this video says its good. im flagging this video so should everyone else

  • the epa just wants there not to be any soot coming out while driving, but make the engine burn more fuel to flush the soot out which would have ended up coming out in the first place. thats fantastic, burning more fuel to solve uhhh nothing!

the people in the video sound clueless too "exhaust gas pressure" wtf

  • FUCK DPF's i like to let my trucks breathe out as much as they can lol

  • You don't even need to run it hard to start the regen. When the sensor notes a huge pressure difference between the two ends of the dpf (ie clogged with soot) it will automatically inject extra fuel to get the egt's up high enough to burn it out. Yes it can get hot enough to catch leaves and paper on fire, no the epa knows nothing as these rob more fuel economy than they are worth. Just took the dpf off an 08 GMC and gained about 10 mpg out of it.

  • my solution is cut all that shit out put a k&n filter and strait pipe and if you want a programer that would be boss!! wht do yall think??

  • The tree huggers sure will cry when everyone gets rid of the urea systems on the '11 Dmax and 'Strokes, cant wait for that.

  • I dont know what message you are trying to send with this video, but people can do whatever the fuck they like to their own personal vehicles, for whatever reason. And there are several great reasons to get rid of all the emissions bullshit. The main one being that its not necessary, and im a fan of simplicity. And we all know global warming is a joke anyway. And of course it sounds better with a wide-open straight pipe :)

  • i dont know what the point of this video post is. People can do whatever the fuck they want to their own personal vehicles and it doesnt matter what reason they have for doing it. Although there are many obvious reasons for getting rid of all that emissions bullshit. The main one being that its not nessesary to have the junk, and i like simplification. We all know global warming is a joke anyway. And of course it sounds better with a wide-open straight pipe :)

  • haha yet...it was only a matter of time before the aftermarket companies made it possible for the 6.7 run totally run emission free

  • i got a buddy that has all that shit he sais he cant just cruse around town cous it will build up that soot and wouldent get hot enouph to clear it and it would like the guys said shut doun!! and you cant just restart it you hav to go to the shop. i love my 5.9

  • I dont care what anyone says, after owning these trucks they will run Sooo much better with a DPF delete kit! These are a terrible design & do nothing but increase your EGT's & make your fuel economy go to shit!

  • it collects the soot and then you have to go on the highway when its full and burn it off at like 100km it dosent all release it burns up

  • so basicly the dpf just collects al the soot and releases it all at once. instead of just realeasing it with out storing it first. dumb

  • Its slightly more complicated. It collects soot, which is a biproduct of unburned fuel made of long-chain cabon molecules, and then waits until the filter is 80% full. When it reaches that point, it increases the EGT dramatically and heats up the DPF to super hot temps. This re-burns the soot into its simpler molcules, like C02, CO, and "ash". These are less harmful to the environment that soot and makes the treehuggers feel better that there's no black smoke. ITs called a "regen cycle".

  • agreed, its redundant.

  • No. a DPF stores the soot like a filter, then when it gets full it engages "Auto Regeneration" and burns it away, which uses alot of fuel.

  • @94pstroke its supposed to collect the soot and when it clogs up, the engine burns more fuel to heat up the exhaust and it will burn the soot off, so if you do short run around journies then the soot trap never gets time to heat up properly and clogs, easiest way to make it re-generate is to put a load on the engine and make it work hard, or find the steepest longest hill you can find and floor it all the way up, keeping it in a low gear to hold the revs up....that ought to do it!

  • @94pstroke No, Retard. It collects all the "soot" and once it becomes filled up. the vehicle then informs the driver that the filter needs to be cleared. and the engine goes thru an after burner process and burns all of the soot. so it still isnt harmful to the environment. so it isnt "dumb"

  • it doesnt simply release the soot, the egt burns off the soot in the dpf were it is then released

  • no it collects the soot and as soon as it gets enough the computer send more raw fuel (not soot) to the dpf and it ignites and burns the leftover soot and fuel... and tada no black smoke whatsoever

  • @94pstroke From what I understand the burnoff renders the collected soot inert and harmless. That's why fuel is needed to get the temp to 1400* so it can burn it. There is a DPF out now that reduces NOX without burning fuel and robbing power. I'm looking through my diesel mags now trying to find it. I'll post back when I do.

  • @94pstroke Actually, the DPF Filters the soot at lower EGT's. When you get up and going with a load on the highway, EGT's go up and burn off the soot. This affects people who have a diesel just to have a diesel and don't actually put a load on it. I'm not a fan of the DPF either, but it does work. Only downside to the DPF is regeneration reduces power and decreases fuel economy. Its usually only an issue for those of us who actually use our trucks for their purpose.

  • @94pstroke yep, once in a while you'll see a semi dump it's DPF down the highway, clear smoke stack, then jet black for a minute, then clear again

  • @94pstroke No, what it does is collect the Particulates (soot) and Hydrocarbons (unburnt fuel) and then when it starts to get full it injects raw diesel and ignites it and incinerates the particulates and hydrocarbons. Thats why the new trucks are getting terrible fuel milage and really hot exhausts.

My dad's 2008 Ram burnt a tree in our yard when he backed up to it to unhook our boat. I personnaly think they are shit anyways.

  • @94pstroke No it stores soot that comes out from diesel exhaust and when the engine gets hot that DPF heats up to about 800 degrees and it actually burns the soot into nothing. but after a while, these have to be replaced.

  • Smarty and H&S has a tuner that can make the check engine light go away so cut the junk off!

  • I say F*%# all the governments emissions laws. they need to just leave that crap off in the first place. they should only have a cat and muffler. besides soot doesnt even pollute. it settles to the ground eventually

  • so basically a diesel particulate filter, and then can set grass and wood on fire. ive seen them glowing red they've got that hot

  • Happy to say I am DPF free, using a Smarte programmer, couple codes at first, cleared them and the truck runs great, sounds great and I expect a bid milage improvement. Lets consider this, a few parts per million in improved emmissions, or 5 miles per gallon improved milage. Anyone that tells me that I should burn an extra 400 gallons of deisel per year for the good of the enviroment has rocks in they're head!!!

  • Ha or just put a delete kit on it and gut all that dpf junk

  • they dont wanna talk about it taking 3 gallons of diesel just to reginerate do they??

  • and they dont want to talk about it taking 3 gallons of diesel to regenerate do they?? haha get rid of the shit about every other month we have to go to dodge to get new sensors put on bc they fuck up like channel 4

  • I liked the comment where you have to tow something to get it hot enough to work right. Maybe these brainiacs can explain why Class 8 trucks hauling 80,000 pounds have the same problems as the 6.7.

  • How do you fix this?

You go get a 5.9 with a P7100 that gets twice the MPG and runs like a top any day, all day for half a million miles without issue in most cases.

But alas..... the EPA knows best. That's why the "clean" diesels consume twice the fuel for every mile driven, and riding behind one your eyes and throat can detect the crap they are spewing. Not so with an old mech truck. Or really any "non-clean" diesel that isn't overly fueled to produce smoke emmisions.

  • so wait, if i buy a $45,000 truck i have to tow something with it ALL the time in order to prevent a CEL. and if I don't tow with it that means i have improper driving habits?

    what a crock...

  • wow your all fuckin stupid. buy a ford and you wont have a damn problem deleting the dpf.

  • the same bullshit story the told people back in 75 when catalytic converters were installed on cars and trucks don't remove blah blah blah. This is no different to me

  • just about same bullshit story they told people back in 1975 when they started to put the catalytic converters on cars and light duty truck. "Don't remove blah blah blah this will screw this and that up!! The DPF removal procedure has already been down by thousands of people without any problems because they have mechanical ability and has done research on there vehicle on how to do it!!! I wouldn't touch a thing if I didn't know what I doing.

  • 1999 dodge cummins 5.9 '' didnt have to remove it

  • DPF's are total GARBAGE !!!

  • So glad i have 2006

  • ha or you could gut all that dpf junk and put a delete kit on it

  • @BigNaasty no doubt me too ! just replace the incinerator with a fakie

and roll, the incinerator looks like a cat

for a gas engine dont car how hot that pos

gets it will still be plugged with suit, my engine light was going nutts since new

    till i removed the incinerator...

  • hahaha, I'll guarentee you i'll saw the sumbitch right off when I get my 2010 next week. this going green horseshit has went far enough, to the point of insanity. the Government and the EPA can kiss my big white ass.

  • remove that crap.thats why you should cut it off to hear the whistle

  • $1800.00 later, I have to say 'Hell NO' to DPF. Cut that worthless crap out.

  • guy open your eyes! there are dpf delete system out there for the cummins i did it on my truck before i did it i was getting 14 on the max but after i did the dpf system im getting 22 MPGs

  • we call them cats for short and there pointless crap that take away power and over time kills your turbo

  • that dpf is nothing but shit delete it and rip out the egr to and get a heavy duty programer

  • yeah everyone will be happy with there "upgraded" if you will 6.7 cummins until the 2011 6.7 powerstroke come out. =)

  • Haha i just pay the inspection guy extra$ fuck the DPF

  • haha either floor it alot, or rip that shit off, and put a new computer one it! u know there is more than only cummins computer system for that 6.7

  • That makes alot of sense when the government wants to cut down on emissions so they have manufacturers put an exhaust system on that gets the vehicle worse fuel mileage.

  • cut that thing off put edge in there shouldnt be any problems these people are stupid! doesnt her voice just drive u nutts. emissions is BS. say good bye to the 7.3 powerjoke

  • haha my dpf is in the dumpster!!!

  • SAWZALL!!!!!!!! thats what i did to mine bought a peice of pipe and welded the bitch on there

  • craaaapp

  • Let people do what they want to their trucks. Mind your own business and grow a pair. Diesels sound so much better with DPFs GONE; they sound more like trucks and less like a school bus.

  • death to the DPF and the EPA!

  • Go get you a smarty or XRT to get rid of all the emissions shit. For offroad use only of course

  • Yeah, thanks to the new emmisions law, its best to get a 5.9 so you get to avoid the shitty DPF. Like, thats bullshit! If you wanna put stacks on now, you gotta deal with that restricting piece of shit!

  • we just cut all that out and pulled the bulb from the cel ran straight pipe sounds alot better and now i can roll the coal

  • Just flip the DPF Delete Switch, Located on the dash :-)

  • @matt1996f1504x4 right on brother keep up the good work (Y)

  • damn bluetech dodge diesels to much emissions

  • buy a sct programmer with the dpf delete kit, result are great gas mileage and a hell of alot more power

  • gas mileage?

  • Computers, DPFs and cats have no place on a diesel.

  • common rail fuel injection doesn't belong on diesels?

  • @SakoTGrimes YEAAAHAAAAUUUUUHHH

  • I drive a Peterbilt 340 with a Cummins ISC (8.3 liter, 330hp) and a DPF. The DPF will automatically do a mobile regeneration at freeway speeds when the DPF is full. However, if you don't get up to freeway speeds and the filter gets full an indicator light on the dash will illuminate to tell you that the DPF needs to regenerate. At that point if you can't get up to freeway speeds you have the option to do a parked regeneration. Doesn't Dodge have that option to do a parked regeneration too?

  • Dodge does not currently offer such a perfected system... 2010 awaits.

  • it does not offer lousy performace when u take it of. thats the hole point of takeing it of is to get more power. and to make it louder

  • you dont even know what the hell your talkin about mine was gone running code free since about a month after they came out your an idiot my 6.7 dpf delete egr delete throttle blade delete edge juice with attitude stacked smarty s67me fleece boost controller diablo sport fuel controller raised fuel rail pressure fire ringed head arp head studs fas 150 fuel pump twin cp3's under way and twin turbo's fuck all the emissions and fuck u

  • straight pipe it...its not a law or anything, except maybe in california, I don't know about there, but anywhere else in the US it doesn't matter one bit, straight pipe is easier to maintain and there is much less chance of clogging, bad performance, much better sound, plus i've seen and ridden in several diesel dualies with semi pipe up through the bed by the back corners of the cab, for an exhaust, from the motor back that are pretty sweet. There is simply nothing positive about a DPF

  • there called stacks lol. and ya nothink good about dpf only to keep the tree huggers happy. and also. diesel emmitions are ALOT less than a gas engine. diesel carbom sinks into the ground. were growng things need. gas it liter and more posonius

  • KILL the DPF !! It's the biggest NIGHTMARE piece of CRAP that has been put on diesels since EGR !! It KILLS MPG, POWER and the LIFESPAN of the motor! Pleanty of aftermarket companies have kits now to remove that PIECE OF CRAP !!

  • You absolutely SHOULD REMOVE the DPF Piece of crap!! You'll get 3-5 MPG better and extent the life of the motor! The DPF is the BIGGEST piece of crap that has been put on diesels since EGR!!! It WILL CHOKE your DIESEL and KILL it's lifespan....not to mention cost THOUSANDS in extra fuel wasted from POOR MPG!! GET RID OF THE DPF, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID !! There are tons of DPF delete kits offered by aftermarket companies that get rid of this NIGHTMARE.

  • What a crock... Buy a smarty... Get rid of the crap!

  • my brother has a 6.7, the dealership told him that day to day driving wasnt heavy duty use, so he needed to haul crap and floor it more often to raise the EGT and clear out the filter

  • You can get a dpf delete kit I can't remember where but it basically hooks up to the sensor wires on the wiring harness just like the sensors would and mimics their signals so the ecm has no clue the sensors are gone because it is still receiving the signals that the sensors would normally send.

  • lolllll everyone and their grandpa has taken off their DPF

  • Damn straight. Lose the DPF, gain fuel economy AND reliability! It's a NO BRAINER, and it's been PROVEN.

  • fuck ya thats dam rights

  • screw all that crap, get a straight piped 12v that way u dont have to deal with the computer

  • Hell Yeah!!!! Good old fashioned dirty power!!!!

  • 10-4 want more power turn up the pump

  • Its not a 12v. 12v is mechanical and you can turn up. Not qutie the same for 5.9 24v and 6.7.

  • I would just cut it all out and put on some straight pipes. who cares about the engine light. and im sure the amount youll save on diesel fuel will pay for the fines (if you even get fined) and im sure now they do have a sensor chip to stop the check engine light from turning on. I'd just buy a 5.9 anyways

  • i totally agree the EPA knows nothing. you dont all that dpf crap and oxidation catalyst shit, because diesel smoke burns cleaner than gasoline smoke and if some black smoke comes out it goes directly to the ground. were not the polluters, the people with gasoline engines are.

  • this video makes me LOL!! "do not remove" i dont think there are to many trucks left around here with a dpf on it, since you can ALMOST double your fuel mileage with it off and a good tuner....

  • And shittier gas mileage with it. We are so happy for the tree hugers, now we use twice the diesel.

  • BOY ! i sure am glad my CUMMINS is an 06'lol (straight pipe!!!!!!!!!!!!)llol no "BS" sensors until 07' !

just take the incinerator and drop kick that pos , then your check engine light will GO OFF ! mine was on when i drove off the lot with 0 miles !

  • The tech is right but left out a few things...the "air sensor" is actually just an exhaust temp sensor. The soot will not be blown out, it'll be converted to ash, which is less dense than the soot but eventually the dpf will still need to be replaced. You can do your own regen by driving at highway speeds for approx. 50 minutes without towing anything, sucks I know but it is what it is.

  • I've seen a DPF removed without it throwing on a MIL, of course it had somekind of aftermarket programming of the ECM. The tech is right but you can also Regen the DPF by driving your truck for approx. 50 minutes at highway speed...sucks I know but it is what it is. I wouldn't recommend removing the DPF unless you are prepared to pay a healthy fine and most likely void your warranty.

  • Stupid 1400 degrees is no big deal? WTF? U dont have to tow something just drive long period of time

  • HaHaHe, basically this is the thing that bends you over and screws you. Horrible fuel mileage tacked on with high egts and robs lots of power. Save 30% emissions but burn 50% more fuel, hmmmmm....sounds like the EPA for ya. Ditch the DPF and cat gain atleast 4 MPG, and see 30WHP and lower egts. That'll cost ya 40-50 bucks to do. EGR can go with it.

  • not to sure on dodge dpf but cummins semi engines dpf is 2200 degrees and has to be pulled over on side of road when regen is needed and towing something around town isnt going to work FYI run on expressway with a load but by the time it gets hot enough it will be too late and the engine computer will shut you down and then it has to be taken off and cleaned by Cummins to bad they dont have a cleanning place here in USA so you have to buy a new one

  • Totally false. Regen's are done while driving, or while stopped. Exhaust temps reach no more than 1,400-1,500 degrees. Yes, it will shut down if you fail to reach proper parameters to regen while driving, thats why it tells you to stop and do one manaully.

  • theres a cummins service/repair center in Hodgekins IL... You sure they cant clean it there?

  • interesting mine fell off when i was driving, and i got home put a new 5" pipe from the turbo back and some 330 ohm resistors and the truck runs great

  • There are proven systems now available to get rid of that trash with tuning to kill the lite. Available for dodge and gm nothing there for ford yet

  • there is a way around that.. they sell a little spacer that looks like a normal pipe connection on ebay. you leave the first O2 sensor the way it is, straight pipe it and get rid of that, then put the little spacer where the old O2 sensor further down the pipe was and hook up the O2 sensor to the spacer.. the spacer lets some clean air in and gives the O2 sensor a lower reading than the first sensor and the check engine light turns off. or something like that anyways

  • This is EXACTLY why I will never give up my 94 12v... I will put all new body panels on it as many times as I have to (the engine and trans will last forever) to keep this truck the rest of my life!

  • glad my 07 doesnt have all this horse shit, the EPA is the most worthless organization on earth.

  • its funny how there arent any hippie ass faggets that have posted anything on this video yet, like saying how awesome the dpf is and shit, oh ya thats right, they dont know anything!!!!

  • what mpg are those new cummins getting??

  • look at all that crap, how the hell you supposed to strait pipe it?

  • buy a pre07'..

  • EGT's are the killer of diesels so I don't know why we need these dumb things anyway. The rob you of mpg's so you burn more fuel to go the same distance of a truck that pollutes more so you prolly come out even. until you look at the amount you spend on fuel in a month with them.

  • If I ever buy a Dodge with the 6.7L Cummins, the first thing I will do is remove the entire exhaust system from the turbo back and scrap it. Then, it will get a complete, free flowing exhaust, probably stacks as well - since I'm going through all the trouble anyhow. I couldn't care less about the check engine light. Never have, never will. If I'm feeling wealthy, I'll buy a "delete" kit to keep the light off. Or, maybe I'll just take the light bulb out of the socket and save my money. LOL!

Perhaps they don't make 'em in the aftermarket yet? Who cares! I can buy some pipe, borrow a bender, and along with my welder, I'm good to go. Don't need anything else. Worried about the check engine light being on? No problem! Take the damned bulb out. It's a pickup truck not a fuckin' spaceship!
