IMO, though, I don't think Mimi's naive...she's a stripper and heroin addict. She's been around the block.

Mimi is supposed to be 19, fresh, sexy, fun...other Mimis looked either too old or too ugly, or they were bad actresses. Antonique Smith, for example, had an amazing voice and she was good looking, but she was a bad actress at that time. Renee doesn't look very young, but at least I don't laugh when she says "I'm 19" in would u light my candle!

I really like her version of Mimi. The voice and delivery of the song is just so clean. It's so amazing that her voice didn't waver even a bit while dancing and doing all those exhibition of her down the staircase. haha. and the quality of her singing is just... so good.
