It's one thing to have the most disliked video on youtube, it's another to have your video flagged a few thousand times and youtube can not take it down.

Like I said to insightnew : It doesn't matter how many flags Perry's vid gets, youtube knows it would get in hot water for censoring professional political speech. They only censor amateur political speech as hate speech.

I agree that his video is hate speech. I'm more of a free speech kind of guy myself though. For me this includes hate speech. Everyone should see that video. Every one should know exactly what he stands for. Just look at the number of dislikes it has earned. The more he speaks the less likely his chances for success. I'm glad he posted it. As a flaming liberal I can't thank him enough !

I'm for free speech also, but while I'm for everything getting it's fair review there is a problem with politics n policy being shaped by populist pressures as well as it being the desired goal.

It's not simply a matter of being the 'right' opinion, but of one being the open one and the other one that can just be used to defeat it.

For example, I'm a small government social con and that means I'm agienst social engineering (even conservative) but still don't support gays.

But yet it doesn't matter because I realized that I'm against social regulations more than anything else so what two (or more) consenting adults do sexually is their own business, you can't dislike gay rights legislation and yet be for gay marriage bans, it's inconsistent.

According to HappyCabby youtube often doesn't watch the full video when a minor user gets flagged. They'll just trust the flaggers. But of course, they can't treat Perry the same way.
