While recording a set of samples off my 727 today for a friend I found that whenever I programmed a flam Mute Hi Conga in either step or tap write it substituted the Flam Mute Hi Conga with a Flam Open Hi Conga, I have been able to get flam Mute Hi Conga sounds out of the 727 by holding down the Shuffle/Flam button and taping Mute Hi Conga in Track play mode but I can't sequence it.
If anybody else has a 727 can you see if yours does the same thing because i think its a glitch with the sequencer
Not a glitch with the sequencer, that's how it was designed. Open hi conga always gets the flam by default. You can toggle the flam to the mute hi conga by holding down Shift and the instrument selector button while the sequence is playing :-)
You are the master of the 727 I tried what you said and it worked perfectly, I can't understand why they wouldln't just have it set up the same way as the snares on the 707 but your method works great so thanks
sick! I love those beats, and that classic sound. Dam nice studio too!
