Useless idea. The "mother ship" idea has failed repeatedly in many different applications.

The pilot would have to get to the cockpit through a complicated airlock system while submerged. Securing the jet for sea for such an operation would be a nightmare. If this IS real, it was a colossal boondoggle.

The Regulus cruise missile program was the only successful application of an air-breathing jet aircraft being launched from the deck of a submarine, albeit while on the surface.
