just got back from the hospitol watching my mother moan, yell, garbel, convulse and any other horrible thing you can imagine..massive stroke, smoked for 30 years.. it will get you and it will be worse then you ever imagined (if you can imagine anymore, my mum can't)

I'm one of those people who believe hard-hitting adverts work. I think this one is just right to shock smokers into giving up.

Actually, this one is not intense enough.

What I would have done is have him babbling incoherently, indicating his mind has been destroyed by stroke, that he is essentially dead.

Even THAT is not enough for many.

Which is why I am an advocate of actually portraying strokes and heart attacks; if they can show medical footage, surely THAT is doable.

not to mention if you have a stroke your be in that state it could actually just kill you it varies.. but seems like a good reason to give up smoking tobacco.

This is the BEST one I have ever seen. Every smoker knows that smoking KILLS and all that lung cancer stuff. But, living like this is unimaginable. Plus, the guy looks quite heatlhy and young. So, its not someone who looks terribly old. I QUIT SMOKING now ! Thank you Australia ! :)
