My first question is this, what has Rockabilly Rebel got to do with Teds, there are many Ted songs out there, second the photo`s being used,do the people in them know they are being used, its being called polite to ask to use the pictures,i could very well make a video about Teds and post it here and take credit, but to be fair get permisson to use the pictures,i have a video here, and they are of me and my mates in the 70`s..
@TeddyboyNo1 yes ive asked thank you most of them are my dads mates from the 70's and i do this outta fun and so people can enjoy it to watch and cause i like the song is their any problem with that and awsome uve made one doesnt mean that i cant rite :-)
Second, "i dont know why people bother lookin at it if their just goin to rub it down" If you make something and put it on YouTube you are inviting comment and how would anyone know whether they like it or not until they see it
"i just get pics and make a movie i dont read what their about or ask people were they come from so its not my fault"
You know where you stole the pictures from so it is your fault,
@TheFartingPope no i dont i got them from google thank u if ya dont belive me look it up ya self and they can look but dont have to comment if they dont like it do they
Like I said I did not say anything bad about your video, If you put something up on YouTube which has a comments section you are inviting comments good or bad. If you don't like it if someone says something negative (which I didn't) then maybe you should not post things
@TheFartingPope yeah but what did u say their their to enjoy and thats exactually what i did put them up on hear for people to enjoy it not say bad things fair enuf u mite of not said anythink bad but dosent mean i agree with what you are saying and if its steeling then why did he put them up on google for people to see my grandad was in thos papers if you would like to know its history that i like so its not steelings its enjoyment
yeah maybe not mate but like ive said i do this for fun and a hobbie and no i didnt steal them i asked people the people i could get in touch with wouldnt mind and i dont give a shit if people comment just if their going to rub it down then why watch the rest :-)
yeah maybe not mate but like ive said i do this for fun and a hobbie and no i didnt steal them i asked people the people i could get in touch with wouldnt mind and i dont give a shit if people comment just if their going to rub it down then why watch the rest :-)
Most of the pictures and all (I think) of the newspaper headlines came from Brian Rushgrove of TeddyBoy Collared and the Velvet Collar magazine. You should give him credit after all he found most stuff you are using
@TheFartingPope excuse me iam 16 yrs of age i just get pics and make a movie i dont read what their about or ask people were they come from so its not my fault i dont know why people bother lookin at it if their just goin to rub it down
I am not saying don't take the pictures and use them but if you get them from someone like Brian R then give him some credit. He is a Ted who does a lot of research into Ted related material so we can all enjoy it
love the video its brill heres an interesting little known fact the teds colourful drape jackets came in because off the teds who were fisherman along the east coast of england it was a way off getting rid off the dark drab colours off their clothes when they were at sea for weeks on end
Check Out "Long Jackets, Short Tempers by Brian Rushgrove and Steve Marliegh if you can find it. While this is quite nice it is just a collection of Brian's newspaper clippings and headlines. The Teddyboy collared pics come straight off Brian's site
The Teddy girls were scary... I love trying to explain to North Americans what a Teddy Boy was.. finger tipped jackets ,velvet collars,. skin tight pants and brothel creepers. Not forgetting the knuckle dusters and where were they in the 70"s..????? That part I did'nt get...must have been a revival...Great Post good old memories..
cool my dad was a ted to in the 70's you can add him on facebook nigel henderson and you can add me aswell if you like stacey henderson thanks for the comment keep rock'n' kat
i love looking at photos of teds , my old man was an original ted in the fifties, i'm an ex-skinhead. i think the two styles were similar in the sense that they both spent time on their appearance and looking smart and both are predominantly working class styles, in fact if you look at the skinheads they copied the drape look with crombies and both styles wore distinctive suits. great video great style.
