You know I was thinking tonight that I hadn't heard any Johnny Paycheck songs in a long time. I've been going through youtube for an hour now listening to many songs that I've heard and many I haven't heard. I came across this song and after listening to it and actually hearing it before, it hit me like it has never done before. As a Christian for the last 15 years or so I can say with assurance that this man would probably be in Heaven long before some so called Christians. RIP Johnny!

I Praise The Lord that it's not a denomination or religion, it's a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Johnny's brother was one of my best friends, cancer claimed his life a few years back, now Johnny is gone too, may they both Rest In Peace.

@rll1954 You are wrong....the whole point of the song, and more importantly, of Johnny's life, is a testimony that no matter what kind of life you've led, when you turn it all over to the Lord, you are redeemed. Johnny turned his life over to God before he died. And today he sits at the throne of the Lord, wishing you would open your eyes......(I think I just wrote a country song)....We are humanity. We have all fallen short....Sadly, we will not all repent before it's too late. RIP Johnny

@toonful there is only ONE Church "the Body of Christ" the rest are buildings where his followers meet. The word of God says "come as you are" and if they will not let you in a building then they are NOT a part of the Body of Christ, so you are lucky because you DO NOT want to go where they are going.

Big bucks anymore seem to run everything & religion is no different.
