  • Gatorade is horribly bad for humans. Substitute that corn syrup with alcohol sugar derived from plants! It doesn't metabolize in humans and neither does is affect diabetics! :) On another note, stunningly beautiful commercial. <3

  • The drum group singing is from Saskatchewan, Canada!

  • The Native American employee resource group at PepsiCo partnered with a Native Ad Agency (Howl Fire) in Minneapolis to put this together. It launched at the 2009 Gathering of Nations and is a tribute to Native America. The Native group at PepsiCo (called RISE) is involved with Native outreach programs across the country and they also bring Native awareness to PepsiCo and all of their divisions.

  • @fmgsml Now if they would just switch from corn syrup back to sugar we'd have a winner:)

  • Amazing! Way to go Native Skates!

  • Breathtaking!

  • As one of the founders of The All Nations Skate Jam We got to help make this happen, here's a few facts:

    - commercial was made to honor the traditions and culture of native americans, including elders.

    - commercial originated through RISE (native american network at PepsiCo) 400+ members

    - used a native american ad agency (howl fire in minneapolis) for the commercial. PepsiCo and all divisions support the activities of RISE.

RISE - various native outreach over the year: listed above in 1st post

  • - FritoLay career day for Choctaw students (43 students)

    - All Nations Skate Jam sponsor

    - working with Notah Begay's non-profit foundation

    - promoting pepsico's healthier products to natives...sampled sunchips, true north (nuts), tea and G2 (1/2 calories of regular gatorade)

This is a great step forward so please leave a comment so we can get this to go National!
