@mrtisahotdog5 well it’s not perfect though. There’s only one custom pickup, which does sound what it should for a sub 300 $ guitar, nothing more. You can’t do bends with it either (the manual say you shouldn’t but I feel I would destroy the frets if I did and the game does not recognize it. The tuners don’t feel so good either, even compared to a squier telecaster which is in the same price range. But worst of all is that you can’t go for a high score without the strings muted :-(

@ryancicocki The guitar used for the Pro mode is a REAL Fender Squier Stratocaster, specially made for being used as the game controller, AND for being played like a REAL electric guitar. You plug it into an amp, and you can really rock out with it. The notes in the game are the ACTUAL notes of the real song; when you play this on Expert, with the Squire, you're playing the real thing.

@holymetalhypocrite I got an acoustic guitar and I know chords and tabs already, and I think there's difference between the Mustang and the Strat gameplay. The Mustang has 102 buttons in only 17 frets, but the Strat has 6 strings over 21 frets. You can get higher and "realistic" notes with the Strat (I think, I don't own it) as it has the same amount of frets as a normal one. And you can play it like a real guitar too so, no need to buy a cheap guitar if you have the Stratocaster.
