I'm not trying to sound like an asshole dude because that's a legit set up, but that's a dope as Pioneer deck. I typically go with Pioneer and I've had a friend smash his Cobalt SS into a tree head on at 40 with a Pioneer deck and the CD didn't skip at all. Are you sure you're not clipping?
