I've never been an Alanis fan, might as well be up front about it.

But.

That line: "Like any uncharted territory, I must seem greatly intriguing" is one of "those" lines, the ones you never forget. The imagery/sarcasm/hopefulness in those 9 words can't be underestimated.

This song was a big deal to me, even when I was seven years old; the time this song the most airplay. It's so ambient and sexual. It's beautiful. This stands out in Alanis' catalog, alongside Baba.
