Ha! I love it. After the inter-modal, the people creep up to the crossing and 33A comes rolling around the bend. Classic moment us railroaders live for.
If you read descriptions on some railfans videos, they may name the horn in the description, that's how I learned, by reading and studying the different sounds after reading descriptions.
The names of the towns are in the subtitles, next to the train symbol. I hope that helps. I've started to feature the subtitles in my latest videos to help viewers see the engine numbers and location without having to search for it in the discription, although, the description has good info as well.
21Q, 17G, 21E, and the Fairless originant 67Z all head this way. I would love to see it get on a heavy slab-steel 67Z, but the power would have to run over to Fairless, which is only like 2 miles away. 17G should be leaving soon, 21Q leaves there around 9.
WOOOO!!!! Out of my two recent trips to the West Slope, I grabbed the 2574 leading trains...3 TIMES!!!! Twice in Feb, and once a month ago in June. I'm assuming this is that video that I "inspired" from before?? hahaha
I'm not sure what caused it, except maybe that they were new wheel sets and breaking in the flanges. Typically on tight curves they make that noise... not on a wide radius like in this video. It's not the first time I've heard that through here, usually I hear it on spine-cars.
Not exactly. These SD70's were built in 1998 with the anticipation of the merger. Despite the fact that there is no patch, they were built to Norfolk Southern specs with NS numbers.
I've seen 3421 before in Phillipsburg on the LE Line! Cool!! (I knew I recognized that awful Leslie RS3L). Nice Leslie on the 501.. especially the quilling. I guess you got some new editing software cause you did a nice job on this video Eric. Very good work.
5:31 I definitely jizzed when I saw that it was unpatched<3

Ow, sounds like some squealing axleboxes at 2:30. Some nice horns there, I must say.

How is 2726 an SD70M-2? It looks like an SD70ACe.

There's a CRQ SD70 heading out on the 21Q or 17G tonight from Morrisville, PA. I wanna see that!
TrainiacProductions 2 years ago
Well, it would be NS 2574, it is the last remaining blue SD70; 2564 just got an NS coat not too long ago.
o00o00ozy 2 years ago
Whoa. Do either 21Q or 17G head your way? Because she just entered the yard yesterday.

o00o00ozy 2 years ago
huh, so why weren't they just paint NS black
trainboy94 2 years ago
Because they served on Conrail about 8-9 months before the merger.
o00o00ozy 2 years ago
technically it is patched because of the ns symbol over the number and ns white number boards
