  • lol...............

  • ip man 2 last fight

    vs. the boxing guy

  • @MrBigman001 Oh. Right. Forgot about that. Actually, the only thing keeping me from learning Wing Chun is the lack of a partner and equipment.

  • @TheManiacalSatanist6 u can do it w/o a partner... you can try out your own styles but personally i get great results from envisioning i had a partner in front of me, much like shadow boxing

  • 0:51 If you block like that, your opponent can break your forearm if he hits hard enough.

  • How to block wing chun puches, you know the fast ones

  • Sifu Wong reminds me of a Chinese version of Joe Pesci hahaha

  • Master Wong.. I fucking love you ! Your a trip..great lesson on blocking.

  • no offense but isn't wing chun an art where you get out of the others centre line, and using there force against them?

  • :18 and 1:39 Master Wong CUSSES!!!!

  • when he talks at the near end i think its my coatch yelling at my team.

  • Nice video, good lessons, but I am not agree about to don't move, it is strategy and tactics desitions based on the situation. It is just another tool to be used in case to. I mean to move to the flanks or not. But I am not an expert so...

  • You sir, are awesome. Your video are helpful, and also hilarious. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

  • Hello Master wong i want to know how much level there is in wing chun

and thank you for beeing uploading these videos

i wish u could upload videos about drunken style the eight immortal gods. Resect

  • @whynot363 Wing Chun is divided into 3 empty hand forms, a wooden dummy form, a staff form and a sword form. If you really want to look at it at levels, it goes in that order at the majority of schools. I've never seen or heard of a school teaching the sword/staff before the empty hand forms. but I have seen a school show some of the wooden dummy though after a few months. Just a few basic stuff, not the entire form though.

  • @Berengier817 Do you think these methods can be studied alone or do you always need a partner or a dummy

  • @GitanoRenegado you can practice the blocks by yourself, and should everyday. but you cant get the feeling of a real fight unless you have a partner

  • Hello Master wong i want to know how much level there is in wing chun

  • YOUR PAKING AWESOME MASTER WONG YOU'RE A REAL TEACHER!!!! THIS MORNING PAKING BULLIES GO BEHIND ME AND TRY DO KICK MY ASS!!!!!! BUT I REMEMBER YOUR LESSON AND PUT THAT IN MY MIND AND YES I FUCK THERE PAKING PUNCHES AND I GIVE THEM LOW KICKS I DID NOT GIVE THEM A STRONG ONE I DONT WANT TO BROKE THERE KNEE CAPS!!! OR LEGS WHEN I KICK I RUN I REMEMBER IP MAN'S QUATION "ITS BETTER NOT TO FIGHT"!!!!!!! UR PAKING AWESOME MORE POWERS TO U!

  • I think he loves to say fuckin'....Lol...xD

  • he is about as real as a youtuber can get. you go to karate classes, you train with people who uses karate, taekwando, people with taekwando , who the fk uses that on the street! he is damm right! open minded!! MASTER WONG FTW!

  • Dirty-mouthed but awesome Shifu Wong. To all those who praise his realistic approach to fighting, notice he's qot a traditional weapons rack in the background, which means that he doesn't despise, or forget, traditional kung fu. The kung fu world needs more teachers like him.

  • finally a kung fu guy who is realistic and practical.

  • I love this fuckin guy!!!!!! He's about the only real shit on You Tube, huh? LOL

  • This guy is awesome!!! I love how he cusses...

  • Remember I was here.Thai

  • I love this guy

  • master wong is the best, no question

  • i can still use this hand to wack him lol

  • I'd really wish he would use better language. It doesn't seem right for a teacher of any kind to use such low language.

  • @kimcheolho think about a punk who's ready for kick your ass, he will not use sweet words exactly. So I think maybe Wong talk like that, so you can learn to stay calm during a real fight. and btw... who cares about is language? he's a great sensei.

  • @Chapamad you mean sifu.sensei is japanese

  • @kijokentaijitsu do you pronunce it shifua

  • @kokulink its pronounced cfu....an yea you aint lyin....

  • @kijokentaijitsu "everyday you learn something"

  • love this guy... he's trying to save your ass.

  • Darnnnn...Master Wong is awesome !

  • Fact- MMA is not a Martial Art- it is a sport.UFC is not a Martial Art it is a Company(my favourite company in the world probably).if mma has taught us anything it is this- it is the man not the style(in that no one style can claim superiorty 100% of the time)....as far as a style goes,if you dont live it you dont really represent it,its just the biggest influence you have on YOUR STYLE.i personally think a Proper Shaolin Monk could waste about anybody(even Brock lol) but they LIVE THAT SHIT!!!

  • @rider5000G mma is a variety of martial arts n ufc isnt a company its a legue owned by ZUFFA A COMPANY!!!!!!! do some research before u type

  • @GODFATHA96 i agree with the ZUFFA part of your comment, but doesnt the rest of what you say back my point??

  • @rider5000G I agree. MMA doesn't train you to take on multiple attackers or how to defend against a knife attack. It like what master Wong says "Keep a open mind" anything can happen out in the real world.

  • what if he hits u in the nuts , what u do to that master ?

  • crack up Mr wong.... But man be awesome 2b trained by u

  • This guy is fantastic, love his potty mouth also... THANK YOU MASTER WONG.....

  • love him!!!

  • 谢谢您的教训掌握黄

  • @PhoenyxKid 第一次见到会华文的人lol

  • Master Wong is awsome

  • u have a realy harsh language Mister Wong

  • bwahaha!! "Think properly, so you can save your arse one day!" hahaha

  • You are correct that there is no one system and that the most common form of fighting i.e. boxing, needs to be assessed. With more training the better a person can tell the opponent's next move by the position of their body and the shift in their balance.

  • 啊……古之所為一介武夫原來是如此。

  • hahahahhahahahaha

  • so you can save ur ass one day 3:02..gaga,,,anybody notice dat?

  • i like ur egg head master wong ! feel like touching it !! XD

  • this is straight talking like the way it should be no chi power bs no sugar coating it just simple training for basic defense

  • master wong has anger issue please get help .God bless

  • I wanna see him fight a MMA fighter with MMA rules. someone like Anderson silva from the UFC. no one really knows how they match up against fighters in that caliber. these techniques kinda go un tested and that's not good

  • Wing Chung is a MMA system that came out of China. It started out as a combat art... not sport. UFC is a great SPORT

  • Love this guy. Hard core but funny as!

  • this guy is great

  • damn I love this guy! :D Total respect!!! \m/

  • Hahaha Master Wong is so funny. I'd like to get trained by him one day.

  • .so how do you block someone who tries to rush you?

  • @thelijean this is only level 1 training i believe that he wants to get you to master the basics like this before you go onto more advanced stuff like how to defend yourself if someone tries to rush you.

  • lmfao i want to start with this was absolutely hilarious, "im not gonna bucks his fucking face in". master wong i have to thank you for the amazing effort gone into these lessons. youve inspired me to learn.

  • Excellent lesson Master Wong,,,I'll put it in practice!!

  • @andy59tube

Talk is cheap. Elbows and arm breaking are allowed in MMA, anyway. As far as eye gouges, groin attacks, and throat attacks, are those really so sophisticated that an MMA fighter can't easily do the same thing? Would they be so helpless against it? But like I said, talk is cheap. MMA is proven. It has never been tested against wing chun, but I say the burden of proof is on wing chun to prove itself in real combat.

  • that's not the point here xs like he says, it's good, street when unexpected, and like he also says:

don't bullshit, just do it ! and u'll see

  • @Nothus321 Mark Kerr knocked out that deluded fool Ranger Rick(basically a wing chun knockoff style) in 19 seconds with a flying knee. Wing Chun is effective if you are fighting in a phone booth(how many of them do we all use nowadays) but against any pro MMA guy, The Master would be chop suey. Lets see the master up against Master Bas Rutten going random instead of Jim's prearranged telegraphed robot style.

  • @jaccann Yeah, I think the problem is that people see how Wing Chun can be applied in specific situations rather than analyzing combat as a whole. Wing Chun may be effective if you're going up against someone who isn't a good fighter, but why not invest in a fighting style that is more versatile and useful against a wider variety of opponents, such as MMA? Wing Chun is dated. It's kind of like arguing about the effectiveness of a sword. Sure, a sword will still kill a guy, but a gun is better.

  • @Nothus321 LOL! Thats like saying MATH is dated. Idiot. MMA fighters Ive seen

cant deflect a punch to save their lives. They often cant even stand for more than moment.. and all their tactics wont work for crap against multiples. MMA = Sloppy half-assed 'parts' of traditional arts.

  • @xiaou2 Yeah, that's exactly like saying math is dated. False analogy much? Like I said, let's see the theory of Wing Chun prove itself. Talk is cheap, just like you.

  • @Nothus321 Technique in Wing Chun is use of Geometry and Leverage, among other things. Such things never get Dated... they work from day 1 till the end of time.

  • @xiaou2 And for you and anyone else who doubts that MMA can and does work against multiple opponents, look up Urijah Faber's vid here on You Tube and listen to how he took on at least a dozen guys in Indonesia. And from experience, my MMA training has saved my ass on the streets more times than the kenpo, tkd, or wing chun I studied as a kid and early teen.

  • @Nothus321 The guy was lucky, nothing more. Half the time, he was Running away. If those 4ft tall bali thugs knew what they were doing, he would have been hosed in 2 seconds flat. You must not understand much about Wingchun. At yr4 of WC, I was nearly untouchable, no matter what style, & fighting against men 2x my mass. Ive KO'd 3 excellent Jujitsu fighters. Nearly broke a TKD guys knee from a stompkick (about 15% power level) , ending the fight in 1 sec flat.

  • this lesson is very nice for street defense.

  • LOL He's wicked!

  • Very intense Master Wong, I like it, no fucking around. Giver!

  • wow!that guy must be a fearless fighter.he remind me the greatest man in martial arts:bruce lee

  • Wow, he got really angry in this video

  • quite nice, not my style, but good ideas Master Wong!

@ blight4hire: Hit yourself with a bamboo stick against your arms, shins and so on and do a lot of heavy bag training

  • when u block using the wrist bone area below, isn't it very pain? like even when u block punches, it still hurts doesnt it? so is there a particular way to train to make sure your hands are so seasoned that its not pain?

  • your not really supposed to block with the wrist its supposed to be with the thick bone of the forearm...its important to block at the right angle to jam ur bone into the soft part of the opponents arm...in wing chun excercises like bong, tan, gan are used to condition the fore arms etc...im sure there would be heaps on youtube that you could check out

  • thats why they train harder to get the fist and hands harder they punch bags filled with beans and other sort of exercises

  • @blight4hire not bloking with wrist using forarm and knife edge bottom of hand like karate chop and traing in wing chun since was a kid think its funny people learning by video can be done but u got to be freakishly a natural stance is everything do the slim lim teao form for 2 years get a strong stance and punch the power you develop doing wing chun is amazing no as easy as a block and punch all internal quicker you get it the quicker you will develop real power from body

  • 1:39

"Im not gonna bust his fucking face yet!"

    bahahahaha

  • You'll have to practice this much and learn your body flow to make these techniques effective. But once you learn it you can not be hit!

  • looks nice like a lot of things but does it work? show me your sparring.................

  • is work ....he can hit the guy in the face when he is pucnhing but he dont want because is a practice...hey this work ...

  • yer it definetly does work...but how effective it is relies on the individual. Many wc practitioners never get exposed to real fighting and can end up being soft...however for somebody like myself in the security industry also with some training in muay thai and mma the techniques are very practical for the street and do work. For street fighting wing chun is far more practical than any style of sport fighting eg boxing or mma.

  • i practice Filipino Kali, which is also very nasty. Strikes to the throat, nerves in the biceps, the jugular vain, arm bars and elbow snapping and the most easiest, yet dangerous effective... the eye jab. no matter how bg or strong, or fast someone is... you strike them in the eyes and they will be fucked up! i love Wing Chun and JKD is amazing as it combines, Kali, Wing Chun and boxing and whatever else, yeh want to bring into it. "The style, of no style, but is of many styles"

  • yeah my instructor has trained in kali and incorporates alot of kali techniques into our wing chun. Its a very good art and very effective which is what counts! People often think that MMA and stuff like that is superior however at the end of the day the dirty nasty fighter wins....arts like kali and wing chun were created for killing people not winning in a cage. Im glad sumbody knows what im talking about lol

  • i have respect for practioners of all arts, as long as those who practice them, only use them for defence and not to bully people. We should all be of the mind set of "I won't start any trouble, but i'll finish any trouble that comes my way!" People should train for the right reasons, protecting themselves and those they care for. We have people who want to learn kali, because they want to fight like Jason Bourne... they usually don't last long, when finding it takes dedication and dicipline lol

  • yeah ive also seen bullies come and go from my academy...those who want to simply hurt others never last where as those who come and train for the right reasons usually do and follow it through to the end. My instructors always tell us to avoid conflict when possible and to only fight when we are in physical danger which is necessary as you said

  • lOl he said bust his stupid fkin face lOL

  • when i heard the first time, i was like, did Master Wong really say what I think he said?

Good to see Master Wong being real! lol

  • wish he was my teacher

  • ha ha i love this video

  • wow this azn cursin is hilariousssss wow......

  • haha "im not gonna bust his stupid fucking face yet" xD made me laugh

    but it was good!

  • Master Wong has never had a Fight in the ring in his Life.... I reckon just about anybody with 1 years boxing and wrestling experience can take out so called Master Wong....

I find the term "master" of a traditional martial art to mean nothing.... Put a so called Master of any traditional martial art in the MMA and he will get his ass kicked.

  • got have master to learn were you think mma came from relly think about it from all systems but mma is not all that bring that crap to street put master wong out there he beat there brains in lol wing chun covers all ranges of combat heaven human and earth now mma where you think it comes from

  • I must admit, i've been curious about wingchun for atleast the last 10 years, and i've researched alot into its attack/defence strategy, And after doing several martial arts (taekwondo, brazilian jiujitsu, kickboxing, some wingchun...... I don't believe that wingchun blocking is effective against a boxers fast powerful combinations..... Unless you can successfully parry....(attack/block at the same time) which is very hard to do against a boxer. I find that covering up is more safe.

  • This is the debate I am in for many months now! Not decided yet... :-)

  • its the person doing it, not the art.

  • true... but an effective foundation is essential to develop an effective fighter........ A house built on a flat surface is gonna be more strong and stable thana house built on a hill..... i've had wingchun lessons, and i can't help but to feel they waste too much time on pointless dance style movements and drills rather than focusing on all important punching/kicking drills and contact sparring. thats where you learn how to adapt to situations.

  • to burn house down you got start with lighter then gass then fire to grow tree got plat seed in soil then water it for iit to grow like life got crawl be fore you can walk thats what wiing chun about it covers all ranges of combat heaven human and earth time space energy and cent line and gate theory not wast of time

  • if you know all those fighting skills then you would win against a boxer bcuz boxers are 1 dimensional so they wont expect it...i use to box n my uncle was in the military i was sparring wit him n he did this 1 move to me n fucked my chin up so yea we 1 dimensional thats y im tryna learn different things

  • i study under benny meng look him up he best sifu ever but the blocks are great you must not study very hard there right time and place uses them blocks i would not uses bong sau in haven range only in human rang see you need better under standing wing chun dont just fight on in side we fight l9ong range like kkick boxer med rand human rang we uses them blocks and then earth rang we trap as well how can you nock wing chun you have no clue what your talking about

  • Comment removed

  • so are you saying that a Boxer with 1 year's experience CAN'T strike the throat, eyes, groin kicks, elbows, biting etc in a Street Fight? is only the Wingchun man Capable of this? I think not.... Although the point is valid that you can't do these things in the ring.... but my point being... Wingchun has some effective techniques.... But... Wing chun practioners don't get exposed/trained to FIGHT by actually FIGHTING like boxers/kickboxers do... you cant' swim without jumping in the water

  • not true shaolin and wingchun could beat a boxer any day of the wk they do far more extensive training than boxers could imagine like punching concrete for hours and standin on their hands and heads for hours they are trained to kill not fight its mainly for life threatening situations not pussy mma where they have to hold back these guys can kill in one hit if they need to

  • @x123x321x

LOL.... punching concrete for hours... wow that will help you in a fight.... standing on their hands and heads... oooooo how practical.... Even bruce lee once said that a person with 1 years experience in boxing/wrestling could beat someone with 20 years traditional training.... i just happen to agree with that in most cases.... its funny how traditional chinese arts have this myth of being too deadly... its a crock.... hey lets all stand on our heads... that will help us in a fight

  • im not saying that wingchun is not deadly... (if you happen to get the chance to strike for the throat for example) But that is a Big IF........ And then again... anybody can strike to kill if they really wanted to... Im not dissing wingchun, im just criticising it as a "sole" martial art... I do happen to find some winghcun techniques applyable to kickboxing/grappling

  • It is true it is too deadly. Try Kali, Krev or even a Wing Chun guy. Too sole? It will tear you apart dumb fuck. Can't judge on arts that had survived for centuries by looking.

  • its no so much that they cant strike the throat its that they havent been trained to strike the throat. Wing chun fighters are trained to be dirty and are taught basically to do the opposite of what any competition fighter would. But its true many WC practitioners havent experienced a real fight...thats why sparring is crucial with both other WC practitioners and other martial artists, boxers, wrestlers etc but then again many WC techniques are too dangerous to try apply to sparring

  • I know what your saying, could you post up any wing chun sparring as i've never seen any of that before.

You make some very good points.

  • thanks dude. I dont have any wing chun sparring videos on hand however im planning on taking some soon to upload from my academy. We train wing chun and also muay thai and MMA so sparring is always interesting lol.

  • That is true.

  • hahahahhaha. he sounds so funny when he swears... I had to listen to it a couple times to make sure it was swear words. LOL

  • i disagree with you werty556..... a wing chun practioner is more 1 dimensional with their hands than a boxer is.... Wing chun ONLY punches in a straight line.... Boxers punch from all angles... the only advantage the wingchun guy would have really, is the kicking. trapping don't work on boxers.. they don't provide a bridge... they cover up....

  • yes your right but you said you practice all martial arts thats why i said that basically i was saying the same thing as andy59tube

  • fuck?

  • thanks for teach us i training more hard

  • Comment removed

  • is he saying fuking around LOL

  • Legend!

  • this guy is so cool

he does not mince his words

  • just suddenly got all sweary lol

  • Im not gonna bust his stupid fucking face yet - fucking classic! Jim must be pissed

  • HAHAHAHAHA lulzzz

  • in the elbow there is a small area called a pressure point. It is very sensitive, pain with the slightest touch, when punched in the correct spot, the arm goes numb for a sec. Doesnt matter how big or small the oponent is Everyone is Human when done correctly YES IT HURTS everybody.

  • lol! 'and my hand is still here. i'm not going to bust his stupid fawking face yet'

  • i fucking love this guy, all chinese martial arts need to be taught this way if its ever going to go anywhere

i usually laugh at CMA and wing chun and all the rest of it but this guy gets a big thumbs up from me !!!

  • isus standing

  • u r fucking good sifu

  • My English was written in your style of written English so you could understand.

  • "don't fuckin round with other things not meant to!" lmfao. He is genius. XD

  • thankyou that just taught me things i never realised before and how obvious it was yet i never realised thankyou sifu

  • Somebody who actually knows legitimate Wing Chun. This is a true rarity.

  • i think this is his own man-ly style of wing chun cos the original idea of wing chun is not to encounter direct punches as much as he does...

  • He is teaching you how to defend against a real hook and not the stupid out of range hooks that you defend against in your class using a bong pak, or wu sao. Like the man said, go out and experiment, try, and know.

  • u still can't deny this is his own style of wing chun.

Cos the original thinking behind wing chun is to divert and get out from ur opponent's central line. Attempting to do a block with the elbow like that is against that kinda thinking.

A simple matter of fact, what if the hook is coming from a heavyweight boxer and u're only a skinny woman around 100pounds?

I'm not saying this is wrong, as there's no right or wrong, but this is just what i meant by his own 'man-ly' style of wing chun.

  • This might be his own style (and let me emphasize MIGHT). Truth be told, he is probably just showing the real deal. The Chinese are notorious for holding back information which is why "Federation Wing Chun" has made WC into chi sao focused instead a method of refining WC. Typical Wing Chun is easily defeated by, combination punching, looping techniques, or simply feeding a particular technique to elicit a prescribed block.

  • i'm chinese and i learn wc from my uncle, so i'm guessing there's no information being held back against me, at least that's what i hope...

i don't know anything about "Fed wing chun"...so i hv nothing to say about that.

but if it's me, i would step to his side/back after that first block then work on it from there, so to avoid that hook from happening.

there's really not much point in discussing which is the best styles cos it really depends on the user.
