awww i dont know witch type of rabbit i should get. i want small but not to small that people wont notice it and step on it but i dont want one that would be really big like a size of a cat and one not that have alot of far i have had the america and the nz on but they got to big for me
@angelofdeathstyle Hi im amaster23's sister, dont worry no-one will step on it! I would get a dwarf rabbit because they are a good size and the friendliest breed.
@SparkyDiva10 I used to breed rabbits and I found the HIMALAYAN to be the most gentle and easy breed to handle . Ive never known a himalayan to bite or even scratch. Also their cylindrical shape makes it very easy for even a child to pick them up. When out of the hutch they are very lively and playful. They may not be the cutest breed, but they are the best breed for a family.
@SparklyDiva10 it depends whether you have young children or older children. For younger children, smaller rabbits are better, like mini lops or netherland dwarfs. Otherwise most breeds are good for families.
@SparklyDiva10 It really doesn't matter... I have been breeding for quite a few years... I have found that the thrianta is one of the best breeds for children. That is my main breed. And there are many breeders that I'm sure would be happy to find one for you. :)
@BitchInc If you live in America the dwarf lop is not a recognized breed... I would not recomend getting one. But there is a holland lop. Those make nice pets. I've been breeding for quite a few years and have found that hollands are a very tame breed. :) good luck!
great video, dont listen to what certain people (babygray11) say. i think its great you included some beautiful breeds that have yet to be recognized. im sure this took a lot of time and people should be greatful. the only problems i see is the polish is actually a brittiana petite and im not sure the rhinelander is a rhinelander and if it is its definately not show quality (which isnt your fault) and the silver is a silver fox. and you forgot to put a title on the one between sussex and tan
please if anyone knows about rabbit species and breeds i have one that i dont know what it is!!!! it looks like the duthc but its smaller has more fur on his face and head smaller ears and his nose is not that long as the dutchs one !!!! here in greece there are not people who know about bunnies because thay only eat them or have them as pets!!!! but i really want to know what kind my rabbit is!!!!! please help
I'm a rabbit breeder and I've showen at many ARBA shows. Half these breeds are not recognized. I think what you found was "street" names for some of them. Vienna is also not a breed... it is actually a genetics variation of a gene. I think the "Elfin" is just a tan...
It would be tough to do something like this if you don't know ALL the facts, but you did an ok job (kinda). You hit a few of the major ones anyway. Being a rabbit breeder, I guess I judge harder than others!
Well I'm sorry that I didn't get it up to your standards. But I got all the info from a website and some I already knew so I thought that it was just something nice to do in my spare time. I'm sorry that it's not fully accurate, but blame the website, I just compiled them.
A chinchilla (the animal) is not a rabbit. In rabbits, chinchilla is a coat color and is also a specific breed with a few variations. ie standard chinchillas, giant chinchillas, ect.
Oh cool. Nice to know it's got good info in it. :D When we were picking our first rabbit it had one floppy ear but we got one from my piano teacher instead. We got another later from a rescue centre because she was left in a carboard box and abandoned. :( Thanks for watching :D

@SparklyDiva10
Get a bunny from your local animal shelter- look on petfinder, I'm sure you'll find one you'll like, and you'll be helping a rabbit without a home.
