Dude - or whoever - if you can't read your book and go according tho this and figure it out - ya don't really need to be a doctor then do ya?!?!?!? She had to figure it out on her own. At least we were considerate enough to upload a video of the freaking thing. Get off ur duff and figure it out. Stop expecting people to just hand you things. I do have a life that doesn't include holding ur hands thru life.
ohhhhhhhhhhhh plezzzzzzzz can i get more information about this model of heart plezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz its is really urgent i have to show thizzzzzzzz model in mh skool plezzzzz telll me wht ar the material where do we get it frm sme wht kinda of information
Start with the "body" - the gallon jar. The submersible fountain pump will go inside it. The tubing is attached to the pump and will wind through the 4 heart "chambers" - gatorade bottles cut in half placed over rubbermaid containers - and the "lungs" - sponges. Duct tape or plastic ties are good to bind these things together. Knowing the blood flow is crucial. For the proper blood flow, please consult a book or other resources. That is crucial on assembling the heart. I hope this is helpful.
Pickle jar from Sam's, two 20 oz plastic (juice) large mouth bottles, two rubbermaid containers from Walmart, rubber/plastic tubing from Lowe's, two large sponges from Lowe's, small water fountain pump from Lowe's, red food coloring, duct tape - these are the tools needed.
A gallon pickle jar served as the "body." There is a garden fountain pump inside, we found ours at Harbor Freight but Lowe's and Home Depot and such places also have them. Lengths of rubber tubing, also from Lowe's or Home Depot, make up the blood vessels- they are attached to the pump, and then wound through the organs in the proper order. This one uses rubbermaid pint containers and half-gatorade bottles for the chambers of the heart, and zip ties around the tubing to represent valves.
@69camarofreak Sponges for the lungs- we cut through them and inserted the tubing. There is a hole cut in the pickle jar lid for the tubes and power cord, and the heart is glued to the lid. You have to make sure you have a proper size tubing for the pump output, and you might want to use a larger one for the aorta, in which case the tubing has to be glued together, one inside the other. Then you just put red water in the jar, and plug it in.
quite helpful for a science symposium
