  • That is so cute!

  • sorry i ddnt really know that. but im happy shes doing good :) . i wish my iguana was nice. lol

  • @LaZyBoNeSz No worries. :) i appreciate the concern. Maybe you should try offering your iguana blueberries! ;) And please don't be fooled by Paquita's apparent "niceness." When no one's looking, she's a real turd. She head bobs me, hisses, and tries to bite if she gets really worked up (like if I try to help her with skin shed). She was about 5 yrs old at the time of this video and she's approx. 7.5 yrs old now - tame but bratty!

  • i'd do that for rasberries

  • he looks 2 skinny =( u need to feed him more. get calcium for him. better lighting. HELP HIM!

  • @LaZyBoNeSz Thanks. She is a female actually (she's laid eggs before and is now spayed). She's a light eater and it was a struggle to get her to put weight on after her spay, but I assure you that she is healthy. :) For the past 3 years, she's gotten access to unfiltered, natural sunlight on our patio, and has a Mega Ray SB bulb over her basking area while indoors. You can see what she eats on some of my other videos. :)

  • @jenuelpr Aww. :( I realize this comment is from a year ago and I hope things are better now, but if not, then please see my comment to samman401. Also, if you do a Google search for Green Iguana Society, they have a message board there where you can get advice on taming, etc. (also the site itself has a ton of great care info).

  • aww.. That's cute! My bearded dragon loves blueberries to! :)

  • thatz soooo koool

  • sweet :)

  • hmmmm nice

  • so cute !! a little Godzilla !! :)

  • nice

  • Are they easy to tame like that?

  • no they are not i wish they wore

  • @samman401 It really depends on the individual iguana; some are more work than others. You need to gain their trust and come across as non-threatening to them (try doing a non-contact, quiet activity around him/her, like reading). Of course once they're "tame," they can then become territorial and then you have aggression due to that! (sigh) ;)

  • awesome i wish my iggy did that :D

  • Cute overload! You have a very beautiful and talented iguana!

  • @mechnoch Thank you! :)

  • cool mine isnt tame enough to eat from my hand :(

  • Gizmo say Hey Paquita! i'm growing male looking jowls now! so :>~~

  • lol when it stands it looks like a dinosaur!

  • can i have it plz :)

  • wat is dat animal called!!!

    help!

  • She is a green iguana.

  • @2barrr its called a green iguana

  • that's so cure... is it a regular iguana ??

  • Yes, she is a common green iguana.

  • paquita thats cute

  • Aw Pretty!

    Try Yogurt!

i had 3 ignose that just LOVED dandilions and Yogurt!

  • Yes, dandelions (the flower and the greens) are great to feed. Plain, cooked pasta (made without egg, and of course no sauce!) works well as a treat, but only on occasion. I think it's best to avoid feeding yogurt, since it is a dairy product and not appropriate for herbivorous reptiles, but I'm sure a little bit once in a while won't hurt. ;) Plus, igs are just like people when it comes to loving foods that are not good for you! :P

  • What a beautiful Iguana you have there!!

    Nice job ;o)

  • how do you teach them how to do that because i have a 3-4 foot tall iguana and i have been wondering how to teach them to do that

  • If you find a food that your ig really likes (usually fruit; like banana, blueberries, or strawberries) and then you kinda coax them into reaching up to get it. Definitely give it to them either way - you don't want to tease them. ;)

  • My male Ig would take my fingers off if I tried something like that LOL!

  • lol!!...very nice.

  • LOL so funny! i wish my Anneke could do that

  • cute cute cute!

  • That is a pretty funny video. I like how they can use their tails as a pogo-stick to lift themselves up to where they want to go sometimes.

  • VERY NICE!!! How did you get your iguana to do that?

  • I think she's got natural talent. :) I'd heard of other peoples' igs begging for bread and such, so I thought I'd try blueberries. Not sure if she'd perform in public though. She also likes plain, cooked pasta (rotini or penne) for an occasional treat. Stay tuned... maybe there will be Part 2.

  • That's so cool! And adorable!!

  • Nice Iguana . Well Done !
