I shared this with my best friend Andrew Connelly (whose parents came from Scotland) and he said you were one of very few people with a Scottish accent that he could understand.
sometimes i feel being scottish now i feel foreign compaired to scotland back then lol i dont understand any off that am i am scottish through n through lol x
Yay! We both have our little tributes to the great poet. I love your reading - it is delightful to hear your beautiful accent pronouncing the old Scots. (I hope for your sake, you never hear me read "Tam O'Shanter.")
Thanks - there are lots of Burns suppers in Canada - I've read of combo Chinese New Year's/Burns suppers called "Gung Haggis Fat Choy" (Gung Hao Fat Choy is a Cantonese New Year's Greeting) - on the gunghaggis site.
i love robert burns i wish i could do it but they dont have haggis here at least were i can buy it im doing a video on him to morrow if my internet works so.....this was great
Loved your recitation! But then I'm a sucker for any good Scottish accent - male or female. Your lovely feminine Scottish voice was a delight to this old guy's American ears. Thank you!
Amazing, I'm really impressed! in so many ways, thanks for sharing!
