At 3'46 I guess you mean C harmonic minor and not G harmonic minor.

Yeah, C Harmonic Minor not G harmonic minor.....

Ab melodic minor (Ab, Bb, Cb, Db, Eb, F, G) is another option. This gives you b9, #9, major 3rd, b5, #5, b7 and root over a G7 chord....That could be called G altered scale also.
