Oh yeah, forgot to add... it sounded really solid and I appreciated how the lead guitarist made his whole fretboard visible during the solos so that we could see what was going on.

I had one question, though: is the rhythm guitarist using any special effects besides distortion on the more "quiet parts" (like at :30 and 5:25)?

Nope its simply palm mute on high strings and the muted high notes sounds a bit quieted and more with an "Attack" feel to it more then a note, just do it as you were playing a metallica riff with a palm mute just instead its on the higher strings . . so there you go :)

Here I am again ;) well the track is more than interesting , sounds kinda hard cause of the bass if I ain't mistaken but I like it a lot . I stood and compared it to the original one and it has nothing less than that . Keep up the good work and I will be here to rate ;)
