  • I love these products!! I don't wear locks and my hair doesn't get (afro-y) not a word lol but it has grown and thickened my hair so much!! Thank you so much for these products!!

  • What happened to the audio???

  • i cant hear a thing

  • too many products at one time to me

  • I believe this was wayyyyy too many products on the hair. Most of them were not even necessary. All of these products will cause build up on the hair if not shampooed regularly. As professional stylist, I would've omitted about half the products... BUT I LOVE YOU TALIAH WAAJID :-)

  • Doing my loc's as we speak This is a good video who could possibly not like it All need is to see.

  • Love this video

Where can I purchase your products

  • Ms. Taliah, Ok Im going on my 4month and Im going thru the fuzzy stages and the loose end stages, So my question for u is when I do retwist do I just retwist the root or retwist the shaft and the root, because I dont know if the shaft will mend together on its own or what...I hope u understand what im trying to say...lol..Thanks.

  • ITS Addimison sorry

  • i waNTED TO KNO UR LOCAtion sO I CaN DO MINES.......i waSNT Tryna GIVE U MY NUMBER OR Anything like dat sorry bout daT

  • Aint knocking off none sis it actually does look nic but i def fav the b4. Peace and love tho!

  • My favorite thing about this video is to see that the stylist has beautiful locks as well. When I had a relaxer I always used to think, "Why in the hell does the stylist doing my hair not have beautiful healthy hair?" SMH. Feels good to be natural now.

  • love it!!!

  • can u do mines.......646 577 0723 call me

  • @addimison That's a good way to send crank callers your way. Next time, use the inbox.

  • Very nice!!

  • These are the best set of locs, I've ever seen? They are so shiny and they are shaped really nice as well.

  • Wow, What a transformation! Beautiful end result.

  • That is a great job

  • your audio is waay low or not even on

  • I luv these products I only use them for my locs !!!

  • I have my volume up ALL the way & I still cannot hear the commentator.

  • i really LOVE how the lady who is doing her hair has locs too i wish they had a salon near me i will be lookin into gettin their products :)

  • what's the website to purchase products?

  • that turned out beautiful...couldn't hear, but I was amazed by watching the technique.

  • i recently started buying your products :)))

  • Wow, that turned out great!

  • I went to the website.

I have a problem when a company that sells products online does not put the COMPLETE ingredients list in the product detail.

When buying online, we do not have the luxury of holding the product in our hand and reading through it.

I use the bodifier daily, but would like to know what constitutes the "ancient african herbal formula". I thought it was mandatory to list the complete ingredients of the products on the label?

  • @TheDouchka. I agree, the ingredients should be listed. Some people have adverse reactions due to allergies and so on.

  • @TheDouchka I know I hate when they dont list ALL ingredients, I guess their scared soemone will steal their formula :S I think Afroveda did that with their "herble complex" whatever that is *eye roll* They can be sued...

  • That is a very pretty job. I really like it. I usually don't see dreds done that well. Good Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really like this video, very thorough. Shows you the proper way to touch up locs. I like that she showed all the steps and products needed to achieve PROFESSIONAL QUALITY work.

Love that she didn't use oil sheen but natural oil, the products are reasonably priced and they work.

    Sound is pretty low.

  • love it! love black earth products! it works wonders!

  • Oh my gosh! Yes, it was alot of steps but her dreads were completely transformed! I've been going back and forth with the whole dread thing but this vid makes me want to get them because I didn't know dreads could be so neat; no offense but most dread wearers I see have some messy hair.

  • I thought I was losing my hearing! why is the sound so low?

  • jeez there's nothin low maintence about this style at all

  • I cannot hear the narrator. #fail.

  • Nice style, but it should be achieve with few products (shampoo and conditioner alone with some oil sheen). Talk about 7 products in one shot.

  • Beautiful just beautiful and an excellent demonstration of how palm rolling is and should be done!

The lady is looking totally relaxed and the smile says it all!!

  • Been using this product on my natural hair for over 3 years. Check the ingredients...it REALLY is all natural!!! And they smell soooo darn good.

  • nice

  • I live right by the one on Abernathy and im really thinking of going there and getting my hair done. I dont have locs but that look so nice.

  • As a NEWBIE, your products work wonders. I'm so Lov'n my loc journey. Luv Luv Luv lov'nnnnnn it!!!!! Ok, did I say that I'm luv'n it.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

    LOVE HER LOCKS.....

    ;)

  • I Love it!!! it was beautiful...

  • i hear an ARC voice

  • her locks look great but boy you used way too many products on her hair! less is more!

  • @ GataAgressiva411: yeah..I was thinking that was too many products as well! I guess she was using them all to show us!

Thanks though for the video!! Her hair looks great (as well as her skin haha!)! She almost looked like a completely different person!!

One question though: Why didn't you use the loc-it up and palm-roll technique all the way down her locs?? Wouldn't that just cause the product to be distributed unevenly??

  • right!!! I agree with you totally.... I was told that palm rolling was for the new growth only... ;)

    However it was well executed....

  • am I the only one who can't hear what she is saying?

  • nope. i couldn't either.

  • @tummielvr no. you're not

  • @tummielvr no your are not the only one

  • Oh I'm getting em done, You made hers looks fly!

  • wheres sound? looks good tho...

  • Damn. They used the whole 9 on her head. Too many products.

  • i want locks like hers

  • Thank you everybody! You should be able to find details on the products under product details on the website...

  • I love your products!!!

I have been using them for three weeks and I am thrilled by the results!!!

Thank you for making hair products that cater to women with natural hair!

  • Thank you everybody! You should be able to find information under product details on the website.

  • I LOVE these products! I found them totally accident at my local BSS. Glad I did!

  • Omg the girl in the chair has crazy pretty skin. I'm so jealous. Look at the flawless even skin tone. I'm so jealous.

  • Where can I find the list of ingredients for your products? I did not find a list on your website.

  • I bought some Black Earth products today. Cant wait to start using them

  • Sodium Laureate Sulfate is widely used in alot of producs for its foaming properties wich help combine and spread the ingredients when using; alot of health/organic products have it in. I am sure there is an alternative but prehaps it might not be very adaptive when combined with diff ingredients.

  • That ingredient is very damaging for typical black hair. Try using a baking soda mixture. Baking soda cleanses without stripping your hair and scalp of its necessary natural oils. :)

  • omg that is so cute. :D

  • Thanks for the video. I have been managing my husbands locs for a year now. He went to the shop only once to have his hair sectioned off. That's it that's all! Youtube has helped me maintain his locs. I'm also natural!.

  • OH MY GOOSH I so love her locs & I love how gentle you are! You make me just want to come to you just to get my hair shampoo and condition..lol.. thx for the video!

  • this is nice

  • beautifully done!! I just wish the volume was a little louder, I have everything on Max, and I still could barely hear the lady.

This video makes me want to lock my hair!! =)

  • l00ks good how many locs does she have?

  • 5 stars^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

  • Amazing!!!! I might not be able to purchace the products cuz I am on da broke tip, but the procedure and styling tips help alot. I will definately try it when I am finiacially able, I feel that my locs will benifit a great deal if I try this product.

  • nice

  • Wow, her hair lookd really nice. I'm not a fan of thicker locs, but those looked good.

  • that was amazing

  • Damn. I was thinking about ordering the Black Earth products, but I see some of them (if not all of them) contain Laureate Sulfate, which contains 1,4-dioxane, which is a carcinogen.

  • but how does laureate sulfate damage the hair though? because alot of ppl dont like the fact that some of her products contain it

  • I don't know about how it supposedly damages hair. 1,4-dioxane is a known carcinogen, and since I AM an adult making my own choices, I seek products that do not contain these substances for my own personal choice. Hell, I may as well buy so-called black hair care products out of the stores local to me than shop online for products that contain the same substances I'm trying to avoid. I went to the site in the first place to see if her products were something that I wanted to buy.

  • sodium laurel sulfate can extremely strip the hair of its natural oils, making your hair very dry and brittle

  • which ones contain it? where is the information coming from?

  • where'd you get your information from?

  • Google it.

    Yahoo search.

    Wikipedia.

  • You must be looking up the wrong product. Shoot me the link(s) and I'll believe you!

  • I don't give a shite if you believe me or not poosmo. I don't write comments to be believed. You asked where I got my information from, so I gave it to you. Do your own research and come to your own conclusions. Or are you confused as to what I was writing about in the first place? Just read my comments from the beginning if you are.

  • wow, that really looks good. I'm letting mine grow out so I still have about another year so, to get my locs so it can have some lengh to it. good job, by the way where are you located

  • goes to show how good large locs can look

  • Absolutely wonderful! I will be trying this in the salon.

  • Lovely. Thanks for posting. Now I'm off to palm rolling. yay!!!!

  • man, i really was some locks now!

  • i luv her hair i wont mine like dat

im diggin da video 5 star shawdy

  • bet that cost a grip too looks real good

  • Im not trippin right ...? Theres no sound in this vid

  • It is really low

  • Her new growth was fabulous...crazy!

  • are the products only used for dreads, or for locking? I just cut off my hair recently and now Iam fully natural, my hair is type 4a, 4b. would my hair benefit from the products? Please assist

  • her hair looks really nice :) that the way it should look

  • I like it, I may consider getting locs

  • she had soooooooooooo much new growth tho lol. the ''after'' look was hot tho

  • OMG, this looks just like my hair! Glad to see some c-napp loced heads represented!

  • okay, now thats GORGEOUS!

My locs are down my back and would take SOOOO much work to get that effect. MAy on special occasions, i suppose. Very pretty.

  • I want more of that shampoo and conditioner. I guess I will just settle for watching you apply it in the model's hair for now :-P

  • check out kokofemme's page. she just visited taliah waajid

  • her hair went from beautiful to gorgeous!! I love when locs are kinky like that!

  • good job!!

  • The audio is 2 low-cant hear a word your saying and its not my volume

  • Great Job.

  • wow the after looks amazing...

  • This is a fantastic video more for the locing technique and styling than for the products. The loctitian did a great job and i loved the models locs just after washing. Don't get me wrong the products look really good but i am a minimalist when it comes to product in my locs also im in the UK and we dont get alot of the popular natural hair care stuff here.

  • However i wish you continued success in the growth of your business, the more choice the better...

  • i love the shampoo and conditioner. I live here in Houston,Tx and I cant find a retailer that has your product. Would you happen to know?

  • Look online at their website naturalhair/dot/org. They have a list of retailers their. Or you can purchase it from their website or a website like treasuredlocks/dot/com or beautyofnewyork/dot/com.

    HTH

  • i love this produt . the hair detangler omg its works wonders. i don't remember the exact name but i got it at a festival ..

  • it's really nice

  • No offense to you but I have been doing hair for over 20 years. And you have to wash locs very thoroughly which is why I created these specific products for that purpose. And the amount of product used depemds on the clients hair type and how much new growth there is.

  • LOL. That was a lot of product, but her hair turned out beautiful!! I love it.

  • Well the amount of product used depends on the persons hair type.

  • I've seen your hair care advertisements in magazines much success and blessing to your success!

  • very nice, but that was alot of product

  • nice.

  • she got the hook-up!

  • lots of new growth

  • great video I enjoyed watching it.

  • this is a good vid.. real talk.. good job..!

  • Lord have mercy! The sista's hair is more saturated than Chemical Ali!!

Love it though, love the time and concentration on the cleaning alone. Just think there's too many products involved in this "design"

Keep up the good work, hopefully through your work, more sistahs will come to realize the beauty of their natural hair and get off that inferiority complex that's killing 'em and leave the horse hair for the horses and ferret hair for the ferrets!

  • lol agree!

  • thats alot of new growth!

  • this video is very helpful

  • I love this video. I just started my locks and am doing myself with your products (which I love). I don't like this short phase though so how can I or can I get lock extensions, and where.

  • Seems like a lot of product to put into the hair in one sitting.

The sistah's hair did a complete 180 from beginning to end, but I'm sure you can achieve the same result without using the whole product line.

  • BEAUTIFUL JOB! AMAZING!

  • I use It and it's really Amazing, around 10 cm grow up in 6 months. Truc de fou

  • ohk so this is great and all, im ready to invest in these product,BUT
