I like this better in the Sega Master System because the sky flashes colors and it shows Myau fly up to the castle. Why couldn't they do that on this one for the Playstation 2, which is FAR more advanced than the Sega Master System? I am sorta disappointed.
Because it's a remake ;) There wouldn't be much point if pretty much everything was the same. It was also made by different people, with a few of the creators from the original game consulting.
This was the best way to avoid the battle menu problem. PSI didn't characters during battle, so it was no problem at that time. How would they place characters fighting this dragon if Myau was still flying? That's why they manage to change the scene.
