@mast3rFiLyP It depends on the app. Some apps can be installed or moved to SD card, while others have to be installed on to phone memory, which is very low.
The phone can be used without touchscreen ? (I'm a little susupicious with touchscreens because I heard they often spoils after a short period of time)
Its super cool review from the author of the video. I really like it and helped me in making my negative decision for this phone. you can visit my blog for more detail and parallel phone to Motorola fire .
thanks for the review. i had an htc legend and after a year, the screen started giving me problems. (touch issues) the response is pathetic.. and they replaced the screen under warranty. after a few more months, the same problem started again. now the warranty is over. im looking for a better alternative. would you recommend fire?? cos motorola phones are more trustworthy, is what i have heard. opinion please??
@sidkul2k Well I would say it depends on your luck rather than anything else. Something will last you ages while some will get ruined within months of use. Every company tried to give the best to the customer, but technical faults are bound to occur. But you can't blame the whole company for that. This is a good phone, a little slow, but good enough to get u through with what you want out of a phone.
@completebhejafry Well I can't really comment on the keypad. I like this keypad more than the Sony Ericsson Mini keypad. But I would surely give more points to SE Mini for a faster processor.
@quiquedcode I was thinking about that but couldn't find the right rom for this specific model. I wasn't sure if a rom for a different model will work fine with this hardware. So I am still waiting for a rom specifically made for this phone.
@superdkm1 For me it is, but for other it might not be. It all depends on what you want out of this phone. I use it for staying connected. Whatsapp, Viber, Facebook, Twitter, Skype. This is what I use it for. I don't have any games on it or any other app which isn't required like Talking Tom etc.
@shivaji565 Do you still get those lines? I don't see any such lines on my screen, but there are 2 dark spots on the lower left corner of this phone screen. They are only visible when the screen is white.
@realbalaji Browser sucks. Except for 1 good thing, which is it adjusts the text according to the zoom. If you zoom out, the text will spread out and if you zoom in, the text would resize.
But it is really really slow, even when I am on Wi-Fi.
I'm sorry for my english, I'm french, but I have several questions:
1) Is the screen small, not large enough to feel good? Is it crapy? I have seen photos on which the screen was "cheap-looking" don't know if you know what I mean... ( A sort of shity plastic screen... )
2) Is the phone nice to hold in the hand? Not too big? ( I have small fingers lol )
3) Is it better than the Blackberry Curve 9300 & HTC wildfire S ?
The problem is that I have to choose between the 3 phones and I don't know...
1. The screen does feel a little plasticy...Its a medium sized screen with a resolution of 240x360 which isn't much but it doesn't look that bad. Its a good screen for this price range.
2. The phone surely is nice to hold. Looks good. The build quality is nice. Its all plastic, but good plastic.
3. It is not better than Curve 9300 or Wildfire S. But if you haven't decided on a phone, wait for a little while more and buy the Blackberry Curve 9360.
@Rajivroxxx Just did a full review of this phone. Check it out in my other videos, somehow can't post the link here. This is my first time doing a review, so sorry for the shortcomings.
@cresalienz It works pretty fine and so do notifications for other applications like Whatsapp and Viber. But I guess its better to wait for the BB Curve 9360. It will be out soon.

@Rajivroxxx LG Pro has half the RAM & ROM. On this phone I am already running out of memory and its a huge problem. With almost every app closed and very few widgets, I only have around 30MB RAM free. I have to use Task Killer very often.
Another thing, most of the apps can't be installed to SD Card, so they will have to be installed on to the phone memory which is around 180MB. Outta which I have only 25 MB free now with just the basic apps.
Still I am satisfied with the phone. Worth 8920 :)
@Rajivroxxx And just to give you an idea about the battery, when I got the phone it showed 20% remaining and I used it for more than 4 hours while being connected to wifi or GPRS all the time. Downloaded apps, ran benchmark tests. And those 20% lasted me for more than 4 hours after which the phone switched off.
Thanks for the helpful review. One question. In case you're on a pre-paid sim, does the phone display a "Service Reply" each time an sms is sent out? I mean the screen that displays the cost for last sms and balance remaining.

@Rajivroxxx I was considering LG Pro when I bought this one, but that phone sure looks ugly and I didn't like its keypad. This phone sure has the looks. A faster processor and a better camera and a little more internal space would have surely helped but then you can't ask for much for Rs. 9000.
I got this phone just today, so I am trying to see how long will the battery last and I will give you a little more detailed review pretty soon.

@Alecxscool No you can't use the phone touchscreen, since it only has qwerty keypad and no trackpad to control or select.

I'm confused between the Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro SK17i and this phone. Is it worth paying 5k more for a smaller screen and a better keypad?
