Hi Doug, nice "trick" ... 1 finger 2 fingers, so simple. It happened to me a lot, that I get confused choosing the photos. Great help man ;)

how about printing,what size/pixels would be best ??

Thanks. Exposure settings depend on your lighting and the camera. You can go manual, but I didn't for this video.

do you use portrait mode on your DSLR as well?

Yes. I always use portrait mode as it allows you to capture the most pixels from top to bottom that your camera allows.
