Great drama.. but there are certain parts I just don't understand..

Why did Guan Xin left Dr Su in the hospital knowing the fact about all the politics going on there, especially after meeting Dr Tang & saw what became of him???

Dr Su had all along wanted to get away from all these power struggles & practise medicine in the countryside.. And now she wrote this letter asking him to seek what is truly important to him & to cherish what he had..
