I saw fishbone 2wice in '91! Hot shit indeed! I get chillz seeing this on you tube because it's like I'm looking at memories that have only existed in my mind for years. But the band that is touring now is quite convincing that there's a certain spirit that endures, even if it's a lil more mature. Angelo still writes genuine ska/punk songs to this day. Most bands at this point are doing love songs if anything at all. Fishbone's still too raw 4 radio!

I'm from LA & was a Bone junkie back in their heyday. I also saw them most recently in Dec '08 at Pomona. Of course the crowd wasn't as huge as back in the 80s/90s, but Norwood and company put on a GREAT show that was over 2 hours straight w/o a break. The mosh pit was small but fun, and the band even busted 4-5 stage dives for some crowd surfing fun. Angelo's voice is still fantastic, too! Coachella would do well to bring them on board.

My second favorite Fishbone album outside of Truth and Soul becasue of it's musical diversity and Everyday Sunshine always makes my day feel so bright. Maybe's it's the Sly and the Family Stone influence in the jam.
