Also, in most cases of police abuse, the person can also look into filing a claim against the police officers bond which may help get him terminated since they have to be bonded in order to be a cop. Talk to a civil rights attorney for details. Also for folks who live in LA, I would suggest LEAVING & going to a better state w/more opportunity & less oppression (maybe try TX, CA , or some northern state).

We had an 92 year old woman in Atlanta named Kathryn Johnston who was shot and killed by police. They used a bogus no-knock warrant to invade her home. She reached for her gun and was gunned downed. It is as tragic as the case you list. Fortunately, these cops were convicted and are now service time as JoJo's bitch in prison. Consider working with a lawyer or a civil rights activist to write letters of complaint & then get a petition going & have as many people sign as possible. The are though under the authority of the mayor and your state govt. representatives (like your local state govt representative). You need to contact those folks (better as a part of a group) and put political pressure on them. Let them know if something is not done, UR group will do everything possible to get them OUT OF OFFICE
