  • is this still there..ive never seen it before..unless im comfusing it with the Red bird 7 train thats infront of the court in queens.

  • wait did they get 1 or 2 cars?

    I heard 4737 or 4736 were there?

  • @4P3607 They got 4736 and 4737

  • lol that R42 was tossed and thrown around a bit before they got it into place I see.

  • i wish transit had a automotive program oppose to the trains

  • i remember the r30 there to but i also graduated transit in 2007...that car isnt scrapped suprisngly i remember the number from that car its at pitkin yard sittin next to 4 sets of r38s

  • NO They Did not as a student of this school and a part of the operation to change the cars I can tell you that the R-30 Car was not taken to Linden Yard, but it was taken to 207th Street Yard and scrapped

  • Correct. That's where they'll take the train car apart and reef it.

I applied to transit tech back when I was in jhs. I ended up going to adams instead. Kalvar use to be the AP of Security from John Adams High School when I use to be there from 1999-2002. 2006 he left adams and became Principal of Transit Tech. Very nice!. You guys are lucky to the R-42 :D

    Congrats !!!

  • What did they do with the R-30?

  • They took it to linden yard

  • and used it as a yard office?
