Freddy Krueger should not die with the original series. I love JEH as freddy and think he more than held his own. Remakes dont butcher the classics. They have no affect on them at all. Who cares what version a fan sees first? People who wine about remakes kill me. They have always happened and will continue. I say bring them on. The only thing that butchered the classic Elm street movie were the stupid sequels that turned Freddy into a comedian.

Why does it matter whos generation is making remakes? New horror fans should be able to experience Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface. Most young people looking at the originals view them as tacky. So I am glad they are able to see updated versions of these movies that work for them. There is nothing wrong with remakes. If you dont like them, dont see them. I love seeing remakes to classic horror movies and say keep bringing them on. Its kind of selfish for people to not want remakes to be made
