I am a HUGE fan of Eco Styler hair gel!! I haven't tried the blue or the pink because I'm currently stuck on the Olive Oil and Argan Oil gels. However, your hair came out really beautiful and your curls really defined. I'm only 3 months into my naturalness but your video and others that I watch make me very excited to see what awaits me on my personal hair journey!

where did you get your products from? I have eco styler blue, but I'm transitioning, I can't find products and stuff that people use when transitioning with making their hair curly... (I have a mohawk) but what else do you use with your blue eco styler??

@sholanaturale Hi the Smoothing Lotion gives me more slip than the dew HOWEVER if you made me pick between the two I would still choose the Hair Dew over the Smoothing Lotion because the Dew is more versatile because it doubles as a leave-in and moisturizer.

@jcokes7 : You use CIAB with your Eco (and its the mother of all shine agents) so I wouldn't expect you to. It's a match made in heaven but I don't use them together everytime.

@jairyde Kinky Curly Curling Custard seems to work well for 4b/c hair, do some research on YT for Kinky Curly on women with 4b/c hair the downside is that it's a little pricey..

@gwenn4ya For me the Curls In bottle controls my frizz. if you don't have CIAB try adding more product in the areas that are more frizzy to see if that will help.

Your hair looks fabulous with most all the products you review. Curls are super defined and no frizz. I can't seem to prevent the frizzies no matter what ~ mostly in the top and sides. Do you get a "soapy" film when using the Curls in a Bottle? I've tried using less product and still seem to get it when used on pretty wet hair.

I've noticed that your looks the same with whatever you use. You seem to just have that kind of texture that will be what it is no matter what, which I think is a good thing; you don't have to guess. BUT my vote goes for the Smoothing Lotion,KCCC, and CIAB combo. I loved that on you!
