you could also use mil eliminators, that will clear it up too.

yes u have to run a chip/programmer to clear the codes

I've read that the off road H-pipe setup will make the check engine light or some of the idiot lights on the dash light up. Can you confirm? Do you have to change any chips to run these?

i just installed the pypes off road x pipe yesterday..

check engine light came on this morning.. not sure what to do.. havn't heard of this problem before.

no.. its bc the sensors in the cats are removed.. so basically the computer knows that you have no cats. you have to get a tuner to turn off the sensors to get the light to go off.. as of right now im just dealing with the light haha

Did you not hook your O2 sensors back up?

Bc i hooked my 02 sensors up in my x pipe and no light and i dont have cats!

That is incorrect. As long as you plug your O2 sensors into the bungs that come on most Off road H-Pipes, you will not throw any codes.

You can get MIL Eliminators to bypass the codes.

nice setup man! i have borlas on my 05 GT too, and was thinking of an o/r H. I'm in CA too, what are you gonna do when you need to get SMOG tested? and have you had any problems with cops about your car being too loud?
