What a beautiful point by the jolly lovely and fragrant hornbucket. Even the tarnished tin god Al Sharpton couldn't help having a giggle after receiving a ticklish prodding of his proud little stuffed belly.
@rashadkijani lincon was for feeing the slaves because he didnt want "white" ppl fighting over the slaves not because he was a republican or because the party itself was for the liberation of black ppl... know your american history lol... besides sharpton is not the spokesperson for black people so stop acting like it..

Ann says the liberals go after Republicans but give the Democrats a pass. Then she can't name one Republican that the liberals have gone after!!! Because she says, Republicans don't say anything bad. HUH?? Oh, Ann, when you're wrong just admit it and don't make yourself look like a fool. You're loosing all credibility. You were handed your ass. What else is new?
Black folks stop following the Liberals!!!!our ancestors didn't!!! \Ask Sharpton why he went to Arizona to support illegal immigrants who are killing blacks in Cali/NJ and other places. Why cant you get a job? Liberals Black and White. Imorting immigrants competing with you and now whites even with degrees. Hope you bi-lingual soon you wont be able to get ajob without it. thank the democrats including this person and now jessie jackson. Do your own google search
@sssssnake2012 "Black folks stop following the Liberals!!!!our ancestors didn't"
You obviously dont understand history or the difference between Political Ideology and political party. becuz that is a flat out false statement.SMH! MLK was a PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL. Abolitionist who were trying to end slavery were LIBERALS. Lincoln was a LIBERAL republican.
All of Europe, and the rest of the world is laughing at America for even considering high office for an intellectually incompetent woman who happens to be physically attractive and gifted with unnatural amounts of self-esteem.
Yes, we are better educated, yes we are better at dealing with mistakes of the past. You are conditioned to believe your own shit is odorless, even pleasantly fragrant!
@kagerone You are right, I have no criticism of her.. on this video.... I've criticized her for playing the left right paradigm so hard... Her views and how she states them often feels like she has one conservatively partisan position, the one she puts in a live interview, and the other is a conservatively original position her own. A side she sells and a side she cares about.. And to think of it, I hate the way she speaks about the left as if there is only a single progressive view for all.
@Clyaton Basically, your original comment just rubbed me the wrong way in multiple ways... I could explain them all, but at some point, you just got to take a hit of the pipe and say fuck it, cuz no one needs to read this crap.
The blanket statements "repubs whine about being demonized, repubs spend ALL their time, cry babies, can't handle disagreement."
The constant use of bias..
Basically you remind me of Anne Coulter gone from Fox news right to MSNBC left.
@kagerone Um, my point was you are a hypocrite. I never said your point wasn't relevant, I got what you meant. You said generally that 'repubs are such cry babies'. I said your point falls flat because you generalize all republicans as cry babies through Coulter, ONE republican, AND you exaggerate that there is crying involved. Don't worry about it, it's not that important.
Harry Reid has a view that many whites have in this country. He tried to put all black people in the same pot mix them together and say their all the same. But they're not the same. Just because one group of blacks (hip hop culture) has a dialect doesn't mean that the whole race is going to have that same dialect. There is clearly a diverse group of blacks. Some like hip hop some like jazz some rhythm and blues some gospel. There is of course going to be a diverse dialectof speech.
many in the mainstream, including a large divide among liberals, took the same attitude that you did -- the school board was interested in teaching ebonics rather than appreciating its existence (which i think describes the other half of liberals: fully appreciating the legitimacy of ebonics as a language whether or not we understood the school board's motive), and using it as a tool to reach students. no different than esl or, functionally, foreign language classes.
when you write pushing ebonics, i wonder to whom you allude. let me take you back. the oakland school board approved ebonics as a language, in order to bridge communication between teachers and students, perhaps incidentally that it was also with the apex of gang violence. i don't know if you consider teaching to be a good job, but capable teachers were rewarded with higher pay.
yes, rascism exists in america. al sharpton clearly shows that racism is perpetuated by black leadership whenever it suits them politically. when it comes to the issue of racism; blacks rank #1 at the top of the list, as being the most racist of all !!!...hypocrites.
i am confused by your indiscriminate use of nouns. is it black leadership or blacks generally that are at the top of your list, or is there any difference? whatever, the leap of logic seems to absolve other groups of dirty politics/victimization because, it seems either that you don't believe other groups play dirty, or because you really do believe racism to be the worst of the worst?
@MrGeorgehaxi White people (mostly WASP's) caused all this racism in America (or Amerikkka) since day 1. That is why even the NOI view the typical conversative American white man as "The Devil," who not only polarized the USA, but carried out their divide and conquer tactics around the world. For example, they were successful with the division of the Korean pennensula. A product of divided and conquer tactics by the American WASP.
i now understand that you are applying a grade-school or precisian standard that i don't think i, nor grown folks seemingly, would adhere to, but let's put it into perspective.
does that not make limbaugh; that which is newsworthy to most modern media; and the median brain just as foolish (think of popular support for all types of propaganda), rendering your standard meaningless. kindly start with limbaugh.
illustrate the idiocy, i guess. feel free to quote him. (i don't agree with sharpton here: lott's no different than reid, unless standards now dictate that conservatives play good cop to the dems' previous bad cop, but i wouldn't call him nor limbaugh, who i can't remember ever AGREEING with, an "idiot.")
The senator said he thinks the darkness of the skin is a determining factor in who people choose to vote for. He also thinks black people are negroes and have a different dialect.
Monday, we remember Dr. Martin Luther King jr., a republican who had the courage, the will, and the leadership to fight the democrats and the democrat policy of segregation.
political racism (systematic spreading of hate), as seen in segregation, is always a tool of those interested in totalitarianism, always a tool of the leftists.
An earthquake saved Senator Reid momentarily but it won't save his @ss in November. His Anti-Christ Steve from the Planet Krypton made the earth shake beneath his feet; bringing toil and pain on a Godless Haitian people. Prove you are not racist and bring all of those Haitians here to the USA in open immigration. Clearly it is such a shit hole there that they need to move to New Orleans and Detroit on our dime.
My family was handed nothing. My father came to this country, from Germany, in 1950. If anything, he had much greater obstacles to overcome than those who, generation upon generation, have done NOTHING to improve their situation. He came alone (his father was killed serving in the German army and his mother was captured by the Russians). My parents instilled the importance of an education and hard work to my siblings and myself. We have all succeeded. BYW- I am VERY educated.
all americans have entered into a system that was distinctly enabled by the free labor, and low of costs of living, at a crucial crossroads in the country's infancy. to say that the newborns and immigrants thereafter owe nothing to that period is like when my child asks why is there any price to anything at all. why is it not free. well, if you are restricted from the enormous wealth building at that time, including practically free land, closed competition, it may have seemed like a giveaway
all americans are born into comparable privilege, compared to the diminishing opportunities of old europe and the developing countries. even poor, working class whites, owe their livelihood to being floated in the privileged system as i've just described.
also, a learned check of history would demonstrate that as many doors were being opened to your father -- including the fledgling union movement, which quickly separated itself from industries where black employment was great, in order to get the support of southern congressmen -- and other immigrants, those same doors were being closed to blacks, in employment, education and housing -- all the factors that foster a foundation of aggrandizement.
the absence of comparable justice under the law provided the strong likelihood of the group being ostracized.
you haven't directly said it, however much it's been implied, but would you mind telling me is the reason for the sweeping statement that "generation after generation has done nothing for itself"? hate to seem inquisitive.
You talk the typical appologetic liberal bullshit, yet all the evidence points to the fact that Boots is correct, you are wrong. NAME ONE SUCCESSIVE black ruled country that has prospered economically/socially????????/NAME ONE!!!!
@abaskcasckbackj: Just because you are ignorant and know nothing about the world, don't make assumptions: Ghana. Moozambique, S. Africa, the Bahama, Antigua and Barbuda. Trinidad and Tabago, Grenanda, etc. etc. are all economically viable countries that have prospered...
You really are one stupid son of a bitch, or just have very bizarre definition of prosperity. South Africa is an absolute Aids infested shithole, ever since the ANC took it over. Grenada is a shit hole. Shall I look up each of those countries for ya, and show you the definition of a 3rd world shithole? Or is not EVIDENCE capable of persuading you?
@abaskcasckbackj: You asked for "black ruled country that has prospered economically/socially"? Those countries have had successive black leaders and have economies that are growing. Do you even know anything besides your stereotypes? I think it would be a good idea to have knowledge about countries with black leadersbefore criticizing them. The fact that you have to "look up" the countries shows that you are speaking from ignorance. What concrete criteria do you have for prosperity?
Ok, now Im going to make you look like the true idiot you are for the rest of the world to see. I dont need to look up these countries, but now I will just to prove you are the idiot that you are.
@abaskcasckbackj: For the whole world to see? Something is definitely wrong with YOU if you think the whole world cares what you say...I find it interesting that you are not revealing what objective criteria you are using to measure prosperity...As the racist that you are, I am sure that you will shift the criteria to fit your anti-black stereotype.
I think the data that I shared with you fits what most people would say is objective enough. Would you live in Ghana, with 50% unemployment, for example? I KNEW IT! WHY IS IT WHEN YOU PEOPLE LOSE THE ARGUMENT, U LABEL OTHERS AS RACIST? I give you data, which shows IN COMPARISON to the rest of the worlds countries that those you picked do NOT meet the cfriteria, and your answer is that Im racist??? Thats all you have? Get lost, LOSER, time to grow up and face reality.
@abaskcasckbackj: As I expected, instead of stating plainly objective criteria, you choose and pick information that goes along with your sterotype. I haven't lost an argument. What data have you given me except the employment of one country of all the countries I mentioned. Do you know what objective means? It is not in relation to something else. It is a predetermined criteria. GDP? Economic growth? Literacy rate? I feel sorry for you b/c you do not realize how ignorant you are.
Wrong again sluggo. Economic growth is high or low, good or bad. These are terms of comparison. For example, if the US had a 40% unemployment rate, and the rest of the world had 60%, the0 would be considered low and good. Its not objective like math. Putting a value on anything with terms such as good/bad/beautiful/ugly are comparitive terms. I could say a person is smart w/o comparing him to people who are not as bright. I have a Masters Degree in this subject, I suggest you listen and learn
@abaskcasckbackj: You have a master's in comparing things? HA! Wherever you got your master's from, you need to give it back. You still have not named one specific objective criteria that you are basing proseperity on other than NOT having a black leader.
care to explain, bruh? "typical liberal" leaves the reader a lot to intuit, and simply begs the question. bama vs. auburn this aint. ultimately your message to "the rest of the world" is cant, boiling down to poorly disguised bigotry.
your peculiar authority, needing no more of an introduction than i've just described, allows you to distill this long subject into one affirmation: black people are incapable of self-determination (prosperity). that's it. no evidence, to speak of.
it would be absurd, if it were not repeddled by remote computer, and in the warm-blooded, anti-intellectual, singsong, and pastoral bitterness of amren, the bell curve and many other fossilized attempts at preserving the never-was-never-will-be white essentialist identity -- a standard too high for most whites, let alone people of color, women, lgbt, and disabled brothers and sisters.
Bell Curve, fossilized? White essentialist identity? I love how you use vauge language that says nothing. Acoording to the Bell Curve, th evidence points to the Asians as superior to whites in IQ, as a whole....Where is the white essentialist identity? Hmmmmm
@abaskcasckbackj: You try to act as if you are academic but you know nothing. The Bell Curve was discredited by almost all mainstream psychological associations as trash. The IQ of individuals and not what group they fit in is important.
Thats a lie, and the fact is that the research in the Bell Curve can be found at just about any academic institution in this country. Youve obviously havent read it. By the way, PSYCHOLOGISTS co-authored the book, and the data was collected predominately from Psychologists. Sorry, wrong again,
@abaskcasckbackj: I sai d several things. What exactly is a lie? The APA, the main psychological society, did have major problems withe the book. There were many mainstream psychologists who objected to the book. Are you going to tell me that is a lie as well?
The "almost all" comment is not true. Its a very difficult book to dispute, since it is a collection of 100+ years of reaserch, collected by 100's of psychologists. Were not talking about a book on holocaust denial. One of the main arguments against the book was that it could not explain the bizarre/extreme differences between black men vs women. It concluded that IQ was 40-75% genetically linked, BASED ON 100 YEARS OF EVIDENCE. I dont see how most psychs would disagree; they WROTE it
First of all, you need to read the book. The 2 authors of the book took 100's of sources of data, and put it together into 1 book. THE DATA IS NOT THEIRS!!!!! Their opinions of the data is what they contributed. This is not 1 book with data from 1 person. You seriously need to read the book. Your second question could only be asked by an imbicile. Neither I nor the book nor any credible source has ever stated that all blacks are intellectually inferior to all whites.
@abaskcasckbackj: There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers as you have shown. My reason for asking the question was not because I thought it was true. What's the point of you saying that no country with consecutive black leaders is prosperous? That suggests to me that you believe blacks are inherently inferior to whites. Why make the statement?
I have a Masters Degree in Philosophy, I have lived in poverty and in the ghettos, I have served in the military, I have worked in jails, and I read the book, amongst others. I mention jail for a reason. The bell curve data states that the average iq in prison is 80. I can certainly concur. Ive been there as an officer. Thats where Im coming from. What is your background, Id be very curious to know. I honestly dont know what planet you come from at this point.
@abaskcasckbackj: My background is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I think that you are still living in poverty--a poverty of the mind. Throughout teh whole discussion your reaction to the logical whole in your arguments have been to make ad hominem attacks instead of disproving what I say. Because the authors used data from psychologists, that does not mean that the psychologicts "wrote" the book. You seem to have a problem with semantics.
@abaskcasckbackj: And since when does a master's degree in philosophy make you an expert in IQ and psychology? And jsut to tell you I have skimmed through the book but would rather spend my time reading other books without racial agendas.
while i suggest you look up every dig you never felt it expedient to do so before, i have a question about your question:
don't you include black americans when you ask for capable black leadership -- economically and socially? if nope, then why pool countries which, by historical standards, have not provided the democratic apparatus (however due to the limited scope in which we understand pre-modern history) for aggrandizement as successfully as the US?
Very well. I will ask the same question that the black conservative Ken Hamblin onced asked: Name one city IN THE US that has a black liberal mayor that has prospered economically/socially/academically?
I already said yes to that question. Asked by a black aforementioned conservative, name one city under a black liberal mayor that has prospered economically/socially He never got an answer after many years on the show. San francisco? oakland? ridiculous answers like that.
hadn't forgotten about ken hamblin. he was pre-imminently elder, limbaugh, and keyes before they were. more provocative than sowell.
i graduated from cu, and in those days I listened to talk radio nonstop , koa and hamblin occasionally. called in occasionally. you realize i never cared for hamblin. he liked to try to frame an issue, like yourself, moving from the specific to the general a clever tactic for debating, but intellectually dull.
but lets take a closer look at that statement. blacks have only been able to vote or form voting blocs since the civil rights and voting acts, which would directly influence their electability. so we have to pretty much start our search for a successful black liberal mayor in the 70s.
not much prosperity anywhere in the 70s. I, and you, would have a hard time finding any mayor black or white that presided over prosperity or reduced crime, without turning to smaller hamlets that grew out of white flight. (their crime rates would increase a decade later.)
too many war bills, high inflation, rising unemployment, indebtedness to years of paying forward on the prior swinging 60s -- matter of fact the toll of running an empire. also, the success of mayors depends on city councilors, county and state mandates, but lets deal with it.
i grew up in la, and tom bradley was a good mayor -- a role model at least, but la is not your typical city. It was not isolated from the downturn in the country in the 70s, but it fared better than most.
i think might be easier by finding periods of prosperity, and laying claim to those successes. for sure, an aging, overstretched empire makes that a difficult exercise, and the quick turnover of the subsequent business cycles have proven that. the great innovation of the tech boom was surprising to say the least, usually defining developing countries. at our age prosperity is typically defined by financial services and government stimulus (both transfers of wealth that preserve ruling wealth)
you might say the 80s was a period of brief prosperity, but i think of it more as a period of debt reduction (a sort-of tribute to reagan) -- especially in government. that brings us to the 90s tech boom and more recent housing boom.
i was in san fran during the tech boom, and i cannot share your enthusiastic dismissal of the city, meaning willie brown. the preference he gave to favorite businesses made the city attractive for businesses who overwhelmingly supported him. let's continue.
a further search for cities that were humming thanks to the tech boom takes us to norm rice in seattle, wellington webb in denver (got my vote), ron kirk in dallas, sayles belton in minneapolis, lee brown in h-town.
the prosperity brought upon by the housing boom overlaps the tenure of some of those that enjoyed the tech boom, and many did not get out while the getting was good. (clinton's budget surplus is the stuff of legends.) the only one that i feel safe in mentioning is atl's mayor, and maybe that's because i live outside of atlanta: shirley franklin. (i wouldn't want to live in any major metropolis these days. it's going to get crazy, methinks.)
'Im not quite sure what your point is on foreign countries. Japan, for example, was extremely damaged after wwii, became a powerhouse with almost no outside help. No black ruled country comes close.
(let us remember why all of those poor europeans, asians and africans -- don't forget them -- immigrated, and the wealthy ones.) if your question had any merit then the incompetence of blacks would logically extend to the US.
but i reject your question, and for all the liberal bullshit reasons you might presume. (also, shhh, but blacks americans are increasingly assimilating and closing the gap, however you define prosperity. in my opinion, you could say drug dealers exploit the market.)
They are closing the gap in the sports and entertainment field, true. Everywhere else? Somewhat, due to affirmative action, racial quotas, and other panaceic fantasies that some like you have. Look up average SAT scores at any major universities today vs. 30 years ago..............THE STANDARDS HAVE GONE DOWN IN THE WORKPLACE AND IN ACADEMIA
flip through "when affirmative action was white." more good, liberal bs that details unearned white, and immigrant -white, benefits from the occlusive policies of the new deal era. not front page news. demographics demanded that the country's politics/laws grease the tracks of white upward mobility (and leading industry), blacks and free competition be damned.
the great depression was a world-wide depression. most countries responded then, as they do today, with sweeping keynesian, entitlement-driven programs and support to bail out over-indebtedness to cheap credit based on unyielding growth in industrialization. robust affirmative action in one form or another, pal. and i mean cheap credit too.
at the time, don't take my word, there was this little thing called segregation in ubiquitous practice, popularly providing for those in the main, including in government jobs. the military in the US was not yet integrated. public works/highway builders were almost all white. and before sub-prime was a code word for singling out blacks to blame for the systemic credit boom. i repeat: when affirmative action was white.
so-called black countries were still picking up the pieces from changing prerogatives in colonialism (meaning monroe doctrine, meaning marshaling industrialization and building cities, which is no scruple) dealing these countries crooked puppet governments, leftover by what-have-done-for-me-lately empire builders.
the world depression provided a small window for these "black" countries to go it alone, if that's what you want to call the ghettos, and in time more fodder for western governments to turn popular attention to divert arising crises (think most wars).
still, your response seemed to turn my point that whites did benefit from new deal transfers-of-wealth into a statement that somewhere, some place, somebody white proved the illusion of climbing to the top. (black people were amassing wealth during slavery and segregation too.)
kay, you name me those 50 countries, or 5, or 1, since you seem to have forsaken normally what is considered to be the prime one, i presume, but you will do so at the risk of being straightened out.
you might read david brooks recent op-ed about haiti. he wastes no time in decrying haitians for making their own just desserts. and the point i want you to take from his piece is that he, no liberal, is willing to admit that there are prosperous black-ruled -- formerly oppressive, colonial and slave -- countries. he cites the dominican republic and barbados. send Him a letter.
(i will note, however, that there was a spillover affect, to the world moreover -- in fact the US is byproduct of a spillover/arch -- even in the lives of the dispossessed, but let's proceed.)
if policies (laws will have the inherent difficulty of proving a negative -- in private businesses fuhgetaboutit ) have watered down standards it's truly because it's been shown that those standards were coded, loaded and outmoded (a little jesse jackson for u this morning) -- no more apropos to duty than a glorified filtering process that was the crux of the recent case of the hiring exams in new york state.
wrong again. ACADEMIC STANDARDS outmoded???? Math and science? The ability to write an essay? Pick up a newspaper circa 1950, and compare it to one today. This occurred also with women, as firefighters' standards also were lowered. But I guess physical strength is "outmoded" when your hanging out of a burning building, and some 90 lb woman attempts to save you, or a low IQed individual Axs's a question on a university campus...............
your dissembling statements are a natural waste of time. i trusted your innocence, but your argument has almost exclusively taken the form of hollow cheerleading, to which i'm insulted if you think you can put over on me like a dress.
i know you did not understand me to be saying that the ability to write and communicate were jettisoned, especially in the most prestigious private and government schools that turn out management, nor in the technical schools or fields. i defined purposely what standards i meant before. stay here -- i'll rehash them. college-entrance standards that have no bearing in graduation rates, employment, etc., nothing but first year grades should be kicked to the curb.
these include the added preference on sat tests (notwithstanding the essay portion), ap classes, regional (read suburban) location, top high schools and clout status. these standards disqualify whites too, and in larger numbers. wealthier students will invariably rise to the top because that is all pre-college prep and this world is, and there is no way to get around it.
some of the smartest people in the country emerge from the northeast, all along the eastern seaboard, texas and in that black cesspool in the caribbean ocean. they give it away when they speak, but they are not held back by the invincible ignorance that belies the oft-repeated stereotype about drawl nor ebonics.
among the blacks hires and four-year college recipients of AA, these are typically the ones that take the cake, not the pushers and welfare moms, that i hear you thinking, no more strictly unqualified than those whites that grab positions, and they often excel above their white counterparts in the most select colleges and jobs. (although i sincerely believe the increased presence of the rainbow in employment and in schools provides for identification figures that melt away the stereotypes.)
pronunciation has little to do with conceptualization in a university setting, although it might be inferred that if any of them had any legitimate difficulty they might be a two-year college or in the workforce -- the minor leagues. at the same time it is equally telling when a person makes a decision about his or her future.
i draw the line at those who attain on the basis of clout-status: mummie or daddy alone. they are usually insufficiently hardy enough to ever close the intellectual gap in my reckoning, delaying the inevitable downward spiral, unable to live up to one's means.
you might compare a newspaper from the 50s to shakespeare or the mid-victorian era. american english to british english, and notice how language evolves with the movement of tribes, people and growth. i know you won't make the point that the british are any more prosperous for their cleavage to the king's english.
from what i saw, women were required to pass the same physical tests that men were: moving a hose (not your garden variety-type either) so far and back. lifting a 50lb weight up and down so many times. pulling a rope up and down, which i couldn't do in prelims until i mastered the grip by squeezing a tennis ball. tests that simulated actual job duties.
you take everything to its absurd degree, and slap down all standards for having a discussion. i told yo azz this aint cheerleading, and Im beginning to think you are too young for that beer.
i intend to try to catch up with the conversation that you are having with jipoku cause, until proven otherwise, from my point of view we are fishtailing here whenever you are argue for the wheel.
i simply reject the cheer that we've drained the pool by not applying untoward standards, which in the end show no more higher graduation rates or employment results in education nor any less affirmative than the old boys network, kickbacks and all, naturally xenophobic, in employment. demonstrative they were; proficient i question.
you began with a normative assumption about white dominance based on prosperity, and now you winnow the claim, certain that one form of prosperity is more just or deserving than the other. prejudice demands it.
send me the info to your bar, and i'll start a tab for that guinness. at about the same time i'll enjoy a mickey's, if i can figure out a way to get it here in georgia.
the class syndrome is everywhere, bruh. are northern asians any more capable than southern asians; or is it wealth and capital driven (trade and lingering discrimination too).
i could go on, and i beseech you to give me reason to. otherwise, let's have a beer, and stay on trivia. first round is on me, mane.
Sharpton is an idiot. Give the Libs another pass. By the way Al, the word is 'ask', not 'axe'. Most people really don't care how "different" people live their lives. Just live them, leave everyone else alone, and quit pointing out your differences and drawing attention to yourself. Learn how to behave and live like human beings. The libs support the most f-ed up causes for special interest groups. Not everyone is entitled to the good things in life. They must be earned !!
over a large land mass, dialect changes from region to region, precinct to precinct, depending on access. we no more question the bostonian accent than we do the new york, texan, surfer/valley dialects out of LA. we understand each other fine, and should reserve pointing out the niggling differences, as you suggested, however short your own practice.
earned good things are fine, if you were grandfathered in with practically free land, job and education discrimination, before equal application of the laws increased competition, including among immigrants, and which now you may feel entitled.
@gfd1961ut. Learn how to behave like human beings! Thank you! Like all those white men that are serial killers, child rapist, white priest that molest little boys, white preachers that blame earthquakes on blaks that revolted from slavery, white married couples that swap wives, white women that have sex with animals, white trailer trash that are raping the welfare coffers, white ancestors that stole and traded people. White bigots with their evil noses in the air. Thank you gfd1961ut!
i feel you, q! but don't get drawn into name-calling. people stop listening, and get nothing from our potential dialogue that is so apparently missing.
Hypocrisy? Calling a man that wants a blacks man president a racist vs. a man that says we would have been better off with segregation? You people never cease to amaze me! LOL
no. the hypocrisy of knowing if a republican made the same comments democrats wouldn't be lining up to make excuses. LOL it's funny you can't even own up to the double standard. i don't care, words like "racists" and "sexist" are just tools democrats use and it's nice to know people won't take them serious anymore.
quick, howard dean said, "You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room? Only if they had the hotel staff in here. you'd think that would be a back handed slap in the face of blacks but he's a democrat so i guess not.
On Monday, we'll be remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a republican, who had the courage, the will, and the leadership to fight the democrats and the democrat policy of segregation.
you realize that most of those democrats switched parties, and lived out their lives as republicans, convincing the electorate that was moved by the affront to their race-based inheritance to do the same, no?
For forty years,I've watched this joke of a political system. A blind man can see that both parties are to corrupt & full of lobbyists & big money interests. Not the voice of the people. Time for a 3rd party. If we can put a man on the moon, we can get a 3rd party.
There the conservitards go again - making up their own FACTS! There is no comparison between what Reid and Lott said and just saying there isn't doesn't make it so. In the immortal words of Alan Grayson - Ann Coulter STFU!
Voting for these liberal morons destroying our country is what makes you stupid. Unless of course you are one of the lazy pieces of crap that live off of government handouts. Then you are not stupid, you are simply a piece of garbage.
@odesskiy You claim the libs are destroying the country but the FACT is that the republitards ALREADY destroyed the country and the dems are picking up the pieces. But then again, America was never attacked under Bush either, right?
educated negros refrain from ebonics or ghetto slang when among whites,,,but ive seen these same people in unguarded moments slip,,,,like tiger woods saying,,,,,,,she went ghetto on me,,,or ,,,im going to get her a kobe special bro,,,,,,these comments alledgedly made to his black friend
@buckinray18 Why do people always have to raise the biracial card to make Obama different from other blacks? There is no one kind of black person. The majority of black people whose ancestors have been here for generations have some white ancestry. So what? If people are just people, what does it matter? Obama calls HIMSELF black not biracial. If Obama was not well known, a police officer would not dissect his ancestry before racially profiling him. Why try so hard to prove he is NOT black?
The black community is very devisive amongst each other when it comes to who is more black than another, and for you to state to otherwise is a LIE. You are racist amongst each other!
All blacks of slave roots have white blood... none of you are excused! Not one of you!
As for being "BLACK" it is not a title for Obama to obtain because he never experienced being "BLACK." He was raised WHITE, and never earned the title of being "BLACK." Stop defending him.
@Boostnitup What exactly does being raised white or black mean? You are assuming that every black person and white person can point to one kind of upbringing that is separate from the other. I didn't say that black community hasn't been affected by white supremicist views that cause them to value different skin tones differently. I said it doesn't matter, which is true no matter what people say. I don't think that anyone needs to be excused or praised for having white ancestors.
Obama was abandoned by his white mother, and raised by a stigma affected Grandma which felt the truth...that she was raising the anti-Christ himself. She loathed the day he would obtain the seat of power so she wished herself to die instead of see it.
You are pissed that I have knowledge of how you all view each other within your own circles? Angered that a White man would have been taught such revelations? Hey you wanted equality you got it! Now you must step up! When will you do it?
black people are not alone in low self-esteem. it is what our expiring consumer economy is based on. come correct, and i'll indulge you, and 'in your own language'.

Clyaton 1 year ago

There is of course going to be a diverse dialectof speech.
mrgametight1 1 year ago
@gren,
many in the mainstream, including a large divide among liberals, took the same attitude that you did -- the school board was interested in teaching ebonics rather than appreciating its existence (which i think describes the other half of liberals: fully appreciating the legitimacy of ebonics as a language whether or not we understood the school board's motive), and using it as a tool to reach students. no different than esl or, functionally, foreign language classes.
now you know.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
@gren,
when you write pushing ebonics, i wonder to whom you allude. let me take you back. the oakland school board approved ebonics as a language, in order to bridge communication between teachers and students, perhaps incidentally that it was also with the apex of gang violence. i don't know if you consider teaching to be a good job, but capable teachers were rewarded with higher pay.

yes, rascism exists in america. al sharpton clearly shows that racism is perpetuated by black leadership whenever it suits them politically. when it comes to the issue of racism; blacks rank #1 at the top of the list, as being the most racist of all !!!...hypocrites.
MrGeorgehaxi 2 years ago
@mr,
i am confused by your indiscriminate use of nouns. is it black leadership or blacks generally that are at the top of your list, or is there any difference? whatever, the leap of logic seems to absolve other groups of dirty politics/victimization because, it seems either that you don't believe other groups play dirty, or because you really do believe racism to be the worst of the worst?
pobaldy66 2 years ago
@MrGeorgehaxi White people (mostly WASP's) caused all this racism in America (or Amerikkka) since day 1. That is why even the NOI view the typical conversative American white man as "The Devil," who not only polarized the USA, but carried out their divide and conquer tactics around the world. For example, they were successful with the division of the Korean pennensula. A product of divided and conquer tactics by the American WASP.

BYW- I am VERY educated.

all americans have entered into a system that was distinctly enabled by the free labor, and low of costs of living, at a crucial crossroads in the country's infancy. to say that the newborns and immigrants thereafter owe nothing to that period is like when my child asks why is there any price to anything at all. why is it not free. well, if you are restricted from the enormous wealth building at that time, including practically free land, closed competition, it may have seemed like a giveaway
pobaldy66 2 years ago
all americans are born into comparable privilege, compared to the diminishing opportunities of old europe and the developing countries. even poor, working class whites, owe their livelihood to being floated in the privileged system as i've just described.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
also, a learned check of history would demonstrate that as many doors were being opened to your father -- including the fledgling union movement, which quickly separated itself from industries where black employment was great, in order to get the support of southern congressmen -- and other immigrants, those same doors were being closed to blacks, in employment, education and housing -- all the factors that foster a foundation of aggrandizement.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
the absence of comparable justice under the law provided the strong likelihood of the group being ostracized.
you haven't directly said it, however much it's been implied, but would you mind telling me is the reason for the sweeping statement that "generation after generation has done nothing for itself"? hate to seem inquisitive.

abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: Just because you are ignorant and know nothing about the world, don't make assumptions: Ghana. Moozambique, S. Africa, the Bahama, Antigua and Barbuda. Trinidad and Tabago, Grenanda, etc. etc. are all economically viable countries that have prospered...
jipoku 2 years ago
You really are one stupid son of a bitch, or just have very bizarre definition of prosperity. South Africa is an absolute Aids infested shithole, ever since the ANC took it over. Grenada is a shit hole. Shall I look up each of those countries for ya, and show you the definition of a 3rd world shithole? Or is not EVIDENCE capable of persuading you?
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: You asked for "black ruled country that has prospered economically/socially"? Those countries have had successive black leaders and have economies that are growing. Do you even know anything besides your stereotypes? I think it would be a good idea to have knowledge about countries with black leadersbefore criticizing them. The fact that you have to "look up" the countries shows that you are speaking from ignorance. What concrete criteria do you have for prosperity?
jipoku 2 years ago
Ok, now Im going to make you look like the true idiot you are for the rest of the world to see. I dont need to look up these countries, but now I will just to prove you are the idiot that you are.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: For the whole world to see? Something is definitely wrong with YOU if you think the whole world cares what you say...I find it interesting that you are not revealing what objective criteria you are using to measure prosperity...As the racist that you are, I am sure that you will shift the criteria to fit your anti-black stereotype.
jipoku 2 years ago
I think the data that I shared with you fits what most people would say is objective enough. Would you live in Ghana, with 50% unemployment, for example? I KNEW IT! WHY IS IT WHEN YOU PEOPLE LOSE THE ARGUMENT, U LABEL OTHERS AS RACIST? I give you data, which shows IN COMPARISON to the rest of the worlds countries that those you picked do NOT meet the cfriteria, and your answer is that Im racist??? Thats all you have? Get lost, LOSER, time to grow up and face reality.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: As I expected, instead of stating plainly objective criteria, you choose and pick information that goes along with your sterotype. I haven't lost an argument. What data have you given me except the employment of one country of all the countries I mentioned. Do you know what objective means? It is not in relation to something else. It is a predetermined criteria. GDP? Economic growth? Literacy rate? I feel sorry for you b/c you do not realize how ignorant you are.
jipoku 2 years ago
Wrong again sluggo. Economic growth is high or low, good or bad. These are terms of comparison. For example, if the US had a 40% unemployment rate, and the rest of the world had 60%, the0 would be considered low and good. Its not objective like math. Putting a value on anything with terms such as good/bad/beautiful/ugly are comparitive terms. I could say a person is smart w/o comparing him to people who are not as bright. I have a Masters Degree in this subject, I suggest you listen and learn
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: You have a master's in comparing things? HA! Wherever you got your master's from, you need to give it back. You still have not named one specific objective criteria that you are basing proseperity on other than NOT having a black leader.
jipoku 2 years ago
care to explain, bruh? "typical liberal" leaves the reader a lot to intuit, and simply begs the question. bama vs. auburn this aint. ultimately your message to "the rest of the world" is cant, boiling down to poorly disguised bigotry.
your peculiar authority, needing no more of an introduction than i've just described, allows you to distill this long subject into one affirmation: black people are incapable of self-determination (prosperity). that's it. no evidence, to speak of.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
Sure: You sound like a white appologist.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
it would be absurd, if it were not repeddled by remote computer, and in the warm-blooded, anti-intellectual, singsong, and pastoral bitterness of amren, the bell curve and many other fossilized attempts at preserving the never-was-never-will-be white essentialist identity -- a standard too high for most whites, let alone people of color, women, lgbt, and disabled brothers and sisters.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
Bell Curve, fossilized? White essentialist identity? I love how you use vauge language that says nothing. Acoording to the Bell Curve, th evidence points to the Asians as superior to whites in IQ, as a whole....Where is the white essentialist identity? Hmmmmm
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: You try to act as if you are academic but you know nothing. The Bell Curve was discredited by almost all mainstream psychological associations as trash. The IQ of individuals and not what group they fit in is important.
jipoku 2 years ago
Thats a lie, and the fact is that the research in the Bell Curve can be found at just about any academic institution in this country. Youve obviously havent read it. By the way, PSYCHOLOGISTS co-authored the book, and the data was collected predominately from Psychologists. Sorry, wrong again,
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: I sai d several things. What exactly is a lie? The APA, the main psychological society, did have major problems withe the book. There were many mainstream psychologists who objected to the book. Are you going to tell me that is a lie as well?
jipoku 2 years ago
The "almost all" comment is not true. Its a very difficult book to dispute, since it is a collection of 100+ years of reaserch, collected by 100's of psychologists. Were not talking about a book on holocaust denial. One of the main arguments against the book was that it could not explain the bizarre/extreme differences between black men vs women. It concluded that IQ was 40-75% genetically linked, BASED ON 100 YEARS OF EVIDENCE. I dont see how most psychs would disagree; they WROTE it
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
Two psychologist wrote the book, one of whom was not anexpert in IQ. 40-75% is a big range. And it's not 100%. So what's your point?
Do you believe that ALL black people are inferior to whites as far as intelligence goes?
jipoku 2 years ago
First of all, you need to read the book. The 2 authors of the book took 100's of sources of data, and put it together into 1 book. THE DATA IS NOT THEIRS!!!!! Their opinions of the data is what they contributed. This is not 1 book with data from 1 person. You seriously need to read the book. Your second question could only be asked by an imbicile. Neither I nor the book nor any credible source has ever stated that all blacks are intellectually inferior to all whites.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers as you have shown. My reason for asking the question was not because I thought it was true. What's the point of you saying that no country with consecutive black leaders is prosperous? That suggests to me that you believe blacks are inherently inferior to whites. Why make the statement?
jipoku 2 years ago
I have a Masters Degree in Philosophy, I have lived in poverty and in the ghettos, I have served in the military, I have worked in jails, and I read the book, amongst others. I mention jail for a reason. The bell curve data states that the average iq in prison is 80. I can certainly concur. Ive been there as an officer. Thats where Im coming from. What is your background, Id be very curious to know. I honestly dont know what planet you come from at this point.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: My background is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I think that you are still living in poverty--a poverty of the mind. Throughout teh whole discussion your reaction to the logical whole in your arguments have been to make ad hominem attacks instead of disproving what I say. Because the authors used data from psychologists, that does not mean that the psychologicts "wrote" the book. You seem to have a problem with semantics.
jipoku 2 years ago
@abaskcasckbackj: And since when does a master's degree in philosophy make you an expert in IQ and psychology? And jsut to tell you I have skimmed through the book but would rather spend my time reading other books without racial agendas.
jipoku 2 years ago
while i suggest you look up every dig you never felt it expedient to do so before, i have a question about your question:
don't you include black americans when you ask for capable black leadership -- economically and socially? if nope, then why pool countries which, by historical standards, have not provided the democratic apparatus (however due to the limited scope in which we understand pre-modern history) for aggrandizement as successfully as the US?
pobaldy66 2 years ago
Very well. I will ask the same question that the black conservative Ken Hamblin onced asked: Name one city IN THE US that has a black liberal mayor that has prospered economically/socially/academically?
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
I already said yes to that question. Asked by a black aforementioned conservative, name one city under a black liberal mayor that has prospered economically/socially He never got an answer after many years on the show. San francisco? oakland? ridiculous answers like that.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
hadn't forgotten about ken hamblin. he was pre-imminently elder, limbaugh, and keyes before they were. more provocative than sowell.
i graduated from cu, and in those days I listened to talk radio nonstop , koa and hamblin occasionally. called in occasionally. you realize i never cared for hamblin. he liked to try to frame an issue, like yourself, moving from the specific to the general a clever tactic for debating, but intellectually dull.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
but lets take a closer look at that statement. blacks have only been able to vote or form voting blocs since the civil rights and voting acts, which would directly influence their electability. so we have to pretty much start our search for a successful black liberal mayor in the 70s.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
not much prosperity anywhere in the 70s. I, and you, would have a hard time finding any mayor black or white that presided over prosperity or reduced crime, without turning to smaller hamlets that grew out of white flight. (their crime rates would increase a decade later.)
pobaldy66 2 years ago
too many war bills, high inflation, rising unemployment, indebtedness to years of paying forward on the prior swinging 60s -- matter of fact the toll of running an empire. also, the success of mayors depends on city councilors, county and state mandates, but lets deal with it.
i grew up in la, and tom bradley was a good mayor -- a role model at least, but la is not your typical city. It was not isolated from the downturn in the country in the 70s, but it fared better than most.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
i think might be easier by finding periods of prosperity, and laying claim to those successes. for sure, an aging, overstretched empire makes that a difficult exercise, and the quick turnover of the subsequent business cycles have proven that. the great innovation of the tech boom was surprising to say the least, usually defining developing countries. at our age prosperity is typically defined by financial services and government stimulus (both transfers of wealth that preserve ruling wealth)
pobaldy66 2 years ago
you might say the 80s was a period of brief prosperity, but i think of it more as a period of debt reduction (a sort-of tribute to reagan) -- especially in government. that brings us to the 90s tech boom and more recent housing boom.
i was in san fran during the tech boom, and i cannot share your enthusiastic dismissal of the city, meaning willie brown. the preference he gave to favorite businesses made the city attractive for businesses who overwhelmingly supported him. let's continue.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
a further search for cities that were humming thanks to the tech boom takes us to norm rice in seattle, wellington webb in denver (got my vote), ron kirk in dallas, sayles belton in minneapolis, lee brown in h-town.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
the prosperity brought upon by the housing boom overlaps the tenure of some of those that enjoyed the tech boom, and many did not get out while the getting was good. (clinton's budget surplus is the stuff of legends.) the only one that i feel safe in mentioning is atl's mayor, and maybe that's because i live outside of atlanta: shirley franklin. (i wouldn't want to live in any major metropolis these days. it's going to get crazy, methinks.)
hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
'Im not quite sure what your point is on foreign countries. Japan, for example, was extremely damaged after wwii, became a powerhouse with almost no outside help. No black ruled country comes close.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
(let us remember why all of those poor europeans, asians and africans -- don't forget them -- immigrated, and the wealthy ones.) if your question had any merit then the incompetence of blacks would logically extend to the US.
but i reject your question, and for all the liberal bullshit reasons you might presume. (also, shhh, but blacks americans are increasingly assimilating and closing the gap, however you define prosperity. in my opinion, you could say drug dealers exploit the market.)
pobaldy66 2 years ago
They are closing the gap in the sports and entertainment field, true. Everywhere else? Somewhat, due to affirmative action, racial quotas, and other panaceic fantasies that some like you have. Look up average SAT scores at any major universities today vs. 30 years ago..............THE STANDARDS HAVE GONE DOWN IN THE WORKPLACE AND IN ACADEMIA
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
flip through "when affirmative action was white." more good, liberal bs that details unearned white, and immigrant -white, benefits from the occlusive policies of the new deal era. not front page news. demographics demanded that the country's politics/laws grease the tracks of white upward mobility (and leading industry), blacks and free competition be damned.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
I could name 50 other successfully white societies that had not benefit from the new deal era.
abaskcasckbackj 2 years ago
the great depression was a world-wide depression. most countries responded then, as they do today, with sweeping keynesian, entitlement-driven programs and support to bail out over-indebtedness to cheap credit based on unyielding growth in industrialization. robust affirmative action in one form or another, pal. and i mean cheap credit too.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
at the time, don't take my word, there was this little thing called segregation in ubiquitous practice, popularly providing for those in the main, including in government jobs. the military in the US was not yet integrated. public works/highway builders were almost all white. and before sub-prime was a code word for singling out blacks to blame for the systemic credit boom. i repeat: when affirmative action was white.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
so-called black countries were still picking up the pieces from changing prerogatives in colonialism (meaning monroe doctrine, meaning marshaling industrialization and building cities, which is no scruple) dealing these countries crooked puppet governments, leftover by what-have-done-for-me-lately empire builders.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
the world depression provided a small window for these "black" countries to go it alone, if that's what you want to call the ghettos, and in time more fodder for western governments to turn popular attention to divert arising crises (think most wars).
pobaldy66 2 years ago
still, your response seemed to turn my point that whites did benefit from new deal transfers-of-wealth into a statement that somewhere, some place, somebody white proved the illusion of climbing to the top. (black people were amassing wealth during slavery and segregation too.)
kay, you name me those 50 countries, or 5, or 1, since you seem to have forsaken normally what is considered to be the prime one, i presume, but you will do so at the risk of being straightened out.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
you might read david brooks recent op-ed about haiti. he wastes no time in decrying haitians for making their own just desserts. and the point i want you to take from his piece is that he, no liberal, is willing to admit that there are prosperous black-ruled -- formerly oppressive, colonial and slave -- countries. he cites the dominican republic and barbados. send Him a letter.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
(i will note, however, that there was a spillover affect, to the world moreover -- in fact the US is byproduct of a spillover/arch -- even in the lives of the dispossessed, but let's proceed.)
pobaldy66 2 years ago
if policies (laws will have the inherent difficulty of proving a negative -- in private businesses fuhgetaboutit ) have watered down standards it's truly because it's been shown that those standards were coded, loaded and outmoded (a little jesse jackson for u this morning) -- no more apropos to duty than a glorified filtering process that was the crux of the recent case of the hiring exams in new york state.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
wrong again. ACADEMIC STANDARDS outmoded???? Math and science? The ability to write an essay? Pick up a newspaper circa 1950, and compare it to one today. This occurred also with women, as firefighters' standards also were lowered. But I guess physical strength is "outmoded" when your hanging out of a burning building, and some 90 lb woman attempts to save you, or a low IQed individual Axs's a question on a university campus...............

your dissembling statements are a natural waste of time. i trusted your innocence, but your argument has almost exclusively taken the form of hollow cheerleading, to which i'm insulted if you think you can put over on me like a dress.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
i know you did not understand me to be saying that the ability to write and communicate were jettisoned, especially in the most prestigious private and government schools that turn out management, nor in the technical schools or fields. i defined purposely what standards i meant before. stay here -- i'll rehash them. college-entrance standards that have no bearing in graduation rates, employment, etc., nothing but first year grades should be kicked to the curb.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
these include the added preference on sat tests (notwithstanding the essay portion), ap classes, regional (read suburban) location, top high schools and clout status. these standards disqualify whites too, and in larger numbers. wealthier students will invariably rise to the top because that is all pre-college prep and this world is, and there is no way to get around it.

some of the smartest people in the country emerge from the northeast, all along the eastern seaboard, texas and in that black cesspool in the caribbean ocean. they give it away when they speak, but they are not held back by the invincible ignorance that belies the oft-repeated stereotype about drawl nor ebonics.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
among the blacks hires and four-year college recipients of AA, these are typically the ones that take the cake, not the pushers and welfare moms, that i hear you thinking, no more strictly unqualified than those whites that grab positions, and they often excel above their white counterparts in the most select colleges and jobs. (although i sincerely believe the increased presence of the rainbow in employment and in schools provides for identification figures that melt away the stereotypes.)
pobaldy66 2 years ago
pronunciation has little to do with conceptualization in a university setting, although it might be inferred that if any of them had any legitimate difficulty they might be a two-year college or in the workforce -- the minor leagues. at the same time it is equally telling when a person makes a decision about his or her future.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
i draw the line at those who attain on the basis of clout-status: mummie or daddy alone. they are usually insufficiently hardy enough to ever close the intellectual gap in my reckoning, delaying the inevitable downward spiral, unable to live up to one's means.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
you might compare a newspaper from the 50s to shakespeare or the mid-victorian era. american english to british english, and notice how language evolves with the movement of tribes, people and growth. i know you won't make the point that the british are any more prosperous for their cleavage to the king's english.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
my guess is that 90lb women is an imaginative invention for the purpose of making a point. i would remember such a striking pose if i had seen it cut.
the city of LA's fire department wouldn't even take my fresh 18-year old smart-ass, after i passed the written and physical tests.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
from what i saw, women were required to pass the same physical tests that men were: moving a hose (not your garden variety-type either) so far and back. lifting a 50lb weight up and down so many times. pulling a rope up and down, which i couldn't do in prelims until i mastered the grip by squeezing a tennis ball. tests that simulated actual job duties.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
you take everything to its absurd degree, and slap down all standards for having a discussion. i told yo azz this aint cheerleading, and Im beginning to think you are too young for that beer.
i intend to try to catch up with the conversation that you are having with jipoku cause, until proven otherwise, from my point of view we are fishtailing here whenever you are argue for the wheel.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
i simply reject the cheer that we've drained the pool by not applying untoward standards, which in the end show no more higher graduation rates or employment results in education nor any less affirmative than the old boys network, kickbacks and all, naturally xenophobic, in employment. demonstrative they were; proficient i question.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
you began with a normative assumption about white dominance based on prosperity, and now you winnow the claim, certain that one form of prosperity is more just or deserving than the other. prejudice demands it.
send me the info to your bar, and i'll start a tab for that guinness. at about the same time i'll enjoy a mickey's, if i can figure out a way to get it here in georgia.

the class syndrome is everywhere, bruh. are northern asians any more capable than southern asians; or is it wealth and capital driven (trade and lingering discrimination too).
i could go on, and i beseech you to give me reason to. otherwise, let's have a beer, and stay on trivia. first round is on me, mane.

They must be earned !!
gfd1961ut 2 years ago
@gfd1961ut,
over a large land mass, dialect changes from region to region, precinct to precinct, depending on access. we no more question the bostonian accent than we do the new york, texan, surfer/valley dialects out of LA. we understand each other fine, and should reserve pointing out the niggling differences, as you suggested, however short your own practice.
pobaldy66 2 years ago
@gfd1961ut,
earned good things are fine, if you were grandfathered in with practically free land, job and education discrimination, before equal application of the laws increased competition, including among immigrants, and which now you may feel entitled.
i suggest a civil rights or women's lib class.
pobaldy66 2 years ago

@randumbusername
Hypocrisy? Calling a man that wants a blacks man president a racist vs. a man that says we would have been better off with segregation? You people never cease to amaze me! LOL
quetou 2 years ago
no. the hypocrisy of knowing if a republican made the same comments democrats wouldn't be lining up to make excuses. LOL it's funny you can't even own up to the double standard. i don't care, words like "racists" and "sexist" are just tools democrats use and it's nice to know people won't take them serious anymore.
randumbusername 2 years ago
quick, howard dean said, "You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room? Only if they had the hotel staff in here. you'd think that would be a back handed slap in the face of blacks but he's a democrat so i guess not.

Actually I've seen these two on Larry King (at least a couple of times).
As a matter of fact, I've seen Al & Ann together on so many shows like this, I'm starting to think these two have something going on...

On Monday, we'll be remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a republican, who had the courage, the will, and the leadership to fight the democrats and the democrat policy of segregation.
old codger democrats = hypocrites

@b4321,
you realize that most of those democrats switched parties, and lived out their lives as republicans, convincing the electorate that was moved by the affront to their race-based inheritance to do the same, no?

Al Sharpton is a joke
Why is he even on TV?
This douche is always called as an expert of some kind when it comes to racism when he's the biggest racist there is.
HandyMan101 2 years ago
For forty years,I've watched this joke of a political system. A blind man can see that both parties are to corrupt & full of lobbyists & big money interests. Not the voice of the people. Time for a 3rd party. If we can put a man on the moon, we can get a 3rd party.

Ann Coulter for President!
WorkFromHome001 2 years ago
One BIG reason he doesn't have the negro dialect.....HE'S ONLY HALF NEGRO/BLACK/AA who was raised by his WHITE HALF!
Even if he was raised by the Black side, they would've been AFRICAN not BLACK AMERICAN!
Dems want to fight for Obama's blackness soooo hard......he's biracial, get over it.
buckinray18 2 years ago
@buckinray18 Why do people always have to raise the biracial card to make Obama different from other blacks? There is no one kind of black person. The majority of black people whose ancestors have been here for generations have some white ancestry. So what? If people are just people, what does it matter? Obama calls HIMSELF black not biracial. If Obama was not well known, a police officer would not dissect his ancestry before racially profiling him. Why try so hard to prove he is NOT black?
jipoku 2 years ago
Lies!
Boostnitup 2 years ago
@Boostnitup What exactly does being raised white or black mean? You are assuming that every black person and white person can point to one kind of upbringing that is separate from the other. I didn't say that black community hasn't been affected by white supremicist views that cause them to value different skin tones differently. I said it doesn't matter, which is true no matter what people say. I don't think that anyone needs to be excused or praised for having white ancestors.
jipoku 2 years ago
Obama was abandoned by his white mother, and raised by a stigma affected Grandma which felt the truth...that she was raising the anti-Christ himself. She loathed the day he would obtain the seat of power so she wished herself to die instead of see it.
You are pissed that I have knowledge of how you all view each other within your own circles? Angered that a White man would have been taught such revelations? Hey you wanted equality you got it! Now you must step up! When will you do it?
Boostnitup 2 years ago
@boots
black people are not alone in low self-esteem. it is what our expiring consumer economy is based on. come correct, and i'll indulge you, and 'in your own language'.
