  • Turbo Kit huh? Is that name designed to make stupid people buy it thinking it's a turbocharger?

  • @skythegeek Name has been around for 45 years in Spain. We didn't come up with it we just import it, but its a great company they make exhausts for Yamaha of Spain, HEBO, Stage6 and others. dot TURBOKIT dot NET check them out. Again, I understand why Americans might not get the name but in Spanish its pretty cool. Everyone in Spain would put KIT in the name. ItalKIT, MetraKIT, SUSKIT, get it? all real brands like TURBO KIT

  • Seriously? Your sales pitch is nothing more than the fact that its hydroformed? Thats ancient technology for 2strokes and it has no performance advantage. There is nothing to be gained by it other than ease of angle transition. If it has no real welds, the only result can be super thinned out metal where its expanded. Nice try bro.

  • do you make them for 2001 wr 250?

  • We will put up some videos with the sounds of the exhausts no need to be negative, on the way. The brand is huge in Europe they manufacture something called Hebo, Stage 6, and Metra Kit they do a lot of OEM private label but now are pushing their brand. So you've probably already heard their exhausts before just didn't know it. Thats how things work these days.

  • @MartinRacingPerf well metrakit and hebo are from spain and stage 6 is from france, and that are trademarks not products. so i doubt TK has anything to do with them, i think its a sin to even say TK in the same sentence. One more thing hydroforming is a thing of serial production, if you want a high performance from a two stroke, than its gotta be hand made

  • TK does both by hand and hydroforming.

As of 2010 Metra Kit is out of business also TK is a factory they manufacture for other brands. Basically if you have a mold and a design, you can outsource to them. Thats what they do they make exhausts for other companies before MBK closed in France they made some for them as well. Not everyone owns a factory but TK does thats what I meant by it.

  • And all anyone cares about would be 'how does it sound'

    Fail.

  • Its Turbo Kit like Metra Kit, Italkit, Racer Kit all top brand names of products sold in Europe.

For the USA we are calling them TK exhausts now.

  • turbokit is a misleading name. there isn't a turbo, i haven't seen any kind of induction pipe there. it's literally _just_ a muffler...

  • the turbo is in the exhaust

  • @forrestsmokeit You're full of crap....you cant put a turbo IN an exhaust and have it do anything. Turbos need coolant and oil and there are no lines leading to the exaust. Also the whole point of a turbo charger is to force more air into the intake so why the hell would a turbo be in the exhaust? That was just stupid to even say that dude and it shows that you dont know how turbo works.

  • @Master7770 No, I think the turbo is only in the 2t exhausts. The premix in the gas is used to lubricate and cool the turbo (it's a special kind of premix). And there is a special electronic blower that goes on the carb./ intake port. It's all very fancy high tech stuff! ;)

  • @Excomunicater LOL dude thats the biggest load of shit i'v ever heard. There is NO turbo in these exhausts. And even if there was it would not do anything without an intercooler and piping to route the boost into the intake. And then you would need a boost gauge nd other such things. Also you cannot boost a carbureted bike without pressurizing the tank which is not very safe if you are using a plastic one.

  • @Excomunicater (Part 2) Also just FYI, Turbocharging a two stroke engine is hardly worth your while. You cannot build boost worth a crap with a 2 stroke because it loses it all through the ports unlike a 4 stroke which has valves that are only open on the induction and exhaust stroke. The boost is built up behind the intake valves and when the valve opens the high pressure forces more air into the combustion chamber.

  • I see no Turbo

  • ops, i see welds at 1:06 ;)
