Rocky's outstanding technique and agility are perfect for Rossini's music.

@ivancin2010 1) mas bien son tus ridiculos comentarios los que causan risa. No tienes la menor idea ni de Opera ni de tecnica vocal. En tus comentarios te limitas a atacar con insinuaciones mentirôsas sobre quienes pueden poner en su lugar a tu idolo.JDF quien carece de la cualidad basica que se requie para ser un tenor rosiniano y que es TENER VOZ. En vivo en el escenario de la Opera la voz de JDF no se siente, es mas bien insignificante.

@ivancin2010 2) aunque te duela, el mejor Tenor Rosiniano de los ultimos 50 años ha sido Francisco Araiza quien de la misma manera interpreta roles de Wagner, Verdi, Puccini y Mozart entre otros, cosa que JDF ni en sus sueños mas fantasiosos pudiera imaginarse. Por último, tu comentario del falsete es tan inverosímil como decir que Marlin Monroe llevaba peluca negra en sus fotos.

A Juan Diego Florez y Rockwell Blake se les escucha un estilo caprino y una falta de verdadera técnica que permita escuchar un metal límpido en cada nota. Sin duda alguna la mejor ejecución de dicha obra es la del maestro Francisco Araiza.

Florez is tremendous in this role as are

Dino Borgioli and Herman Jadlowker from an earlier era.

I like the musicality of Florez. He does not make the runs machinelike with equal weight on every note, but stresses the main notes and lightens the others. His overall vocal production is healthy, and I could listen to his legato all day (unlike other some tenors specializing in this repertory). Bravo, maestro Florez. Bell' appoggio.

Estoy de acuerdo con vos, Florez es un virtuoso y respecto a la velocidad me parece que esta muy correcto, o sea, no es el tipico gorjeo de garganta de muchos tenores ligeros. Lo que veo es que Florez ha hecho mucho por moverse en los agudos con timbre pero en sus armonicos y en el registro grave se muere, es la moda del momento, una lastima! me quedo con Blake o Kunde. Un abrazo
